Donnie Walsh may have been let go earlier last month but are his days as head of Knick management over?
I can't help but feel that all of this is a ploy by the Knicks to gain an upperhand during the lockout. With Walsh a free agent, he is not only able to maintain contact with Knick players BUT ALSO is able establish contact with prospective Knick players and negotiate there eventual arrival in 2012 (e.g. Chris Paul, Dwight Howard and Deron Williams). That is a huge advantage that other teams don't have because of David Stern's mandated silence between franchises and players. So what do you guys think? Is it possible that this is why Donnie Walsh was not re-signed?
