i would like to know your opinon on the draft for NY. i heard fans where booing on that jordan hill pick but i think it was one of the best case scenarios!
i think hill could start depending on what happens to david lee and in this system he may even start playing Center and i think will produce good numbers!
and even if not how would anybody have reacted if they hadn´t taken hill? that would have been the much bigger mistake i say!
and by the way we all know minny took a lot of point´s including rubio who the knicks may have liked best... could a trade be possible?
I really liked this pick, he is an athletic, long post who can run the floor quite well and is decent in faceup and back to the basket situations. In this run n gun system he could produce outstanding numbers, he could and this is a very big could turn into a stoudemire esque type of player in this system.
The odds of getting rubio this year are astronomically low, kahn taking two point guards was more insurance than anything. He figured rubio would play hardball given who his agent is so he got a second point guard. I think if a trade ever does occur it will be next season because rubio's value wont decrease as he develops.
I dont think hes in the same sentence as Amare. Not a bad pick as BPA but I think he was overhyped in a very bad big man draft. I see a solid player not a star. Darko and Hill together are intriguing though. Big, athletic, young frontcourt. I hate to see Lee go but If he must, at least we have a replacement. Douglas wasnt a bad pick but I am disappointed we didnt address our PG needs. Trading for Rubio would be a great deal.
If rubio doesnt work out, Jennings could probably be available. For some reason i just cant see him fitting on the bucks. Hes just not very defensive oriented, and has that swagger that says to me " I dont belong in Milwaukee." So after Scott Skiles has had enough of him in two weeks im sure the knicks could make a move for him, assuming the rubio situation doesnt get any better.
After he cussed out the Knicks for not drafting him I doubt that happens. Anyways, a team doesnt draft someone at #10 if they dont plan to keep him.
i agree on jennings he could be avalible much cheeper than rubio and i don´t see him fit in milwaukkee...
even if they planed to keep him i think skiles is just the coach a player like rubio would have trouble with very fast so why not i don´t think it is very unlikely...
but i don´t think the knicks will go and trade for him... if they wanted to do that they could have on draft night...
