JohnSParticipantThere were several prospects ranked fairly high by many mock drafts and ended up slipping well below their projected selections. Which players will give their teams the most bang for the buck?

auberParticipantMario Chalmers and Jerryd Bayless. Both were easily projected top 20 picks, and in bayless case he was seen as a surefire top 5. The Heat and Blazers got some serious steals.

BigHarv9Participantif Jordan turns out alot of teams are going to be wondering why they passed on this kid once and in some teams case two times
But there are reasons for him going out of first round
so many question marks obviously
but clippers got lucky being able to land him there in the 2nd because if he turns out they have one hell of a player and if he doesnt it wasnt a big investment0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/02/2008 - 5:29am #140385
tbucParticipantJordan was a hard guy to draft. He sat the bench a lot during the end of the year. This told a lot of team he probably stuggled a lot.
CDR has an attitude problem. Most teams would rather test their luck with another player then deal wit him.

Ecuadorboy0233ParticipantKoufos is pick and pop big guy if you look at it Jerry Sloan wants alot of big guys and Koufos gives alot of room for Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur. As for Chalmers hes a quick point guard who can run with the quick pace of the Miami Heat oh and come on he hit that 3 pointer to give Kansas the National Championship

warriorfan17ParticipantThe blazers literally get a steal with every single pick. last couple drafts they seem like they have stolen their entire team as it is insanely young and talented and if they keep their core together (which will be tough considering how much money their young guys will be asking for very soon) they will win so many championships it will be unfair

tallkid96Those r the steals. All of them are much better than they were drafted. Hibbert is great in the post, and 20 years ago would have been a top 10 pick. Bayless is so quick u can not keep him in front of you. Batum may be a pure potential pick, but he could be so good, he just needs to get bigger. Jordan would have been a bad pick in the top 10, but he is so big, and could be so good, i think he is to lazy tho. CDR will benfit from being a second round pick, he wants to make teams pay, and his strange style will help him
