DRUMMOND
Lol after ONE preseason game that means nothing? Yes he was impressive but he didn't do anything we didn't expect, he got all his points off of dunks and putbacks, rebounded well, and had a monster block. He still shows no sign of a post game or a jumpshot.
He doesn't have the personality to dominate a basketball game. He looked like a lost boy at UCONN. He'll be servicable at best. Maybe a poor mans Andrew Bynum, or a less agressive DeAndre Jordan.
Calling Drummond the next Wilt is a little out of pocket but I agree he's going to be very good.
I said before the draft that Drummond shouldn't fall any further then 4 or 5. Cleveland should of taken him just because he was too good a prospect to let pass and at the very least Sacramento should of taken him and paired him with Cousins.
People think Robinson and Cousins could form a dominate frontcourt well what would you call Drummond and Cousins? Fact is Robinson is a 6'9 PF who likes to take 15 footers or slash and offensively doesn't fit well with Cousins who likes to take too many jump shots himself. Drummond on the other hand....
When we look back on this draft there are going to be a bunch of guys that fell too low, like IMO drafting Kendell Marshall over Tony Wroten is a really bad pick which will be revealed in a few years. Picking Robinson over Drummond is another one.
ehh comparing him to Wilt is far fetched you probably will not see another wilt chamberlain again..but i think that if drummond continues to work on his post game and basketball iq he could easily become a top 3 center in the league someday... And if he continues to work on his defensive game he could be a Defensive player of the year for years to come.
And...
I disagree with SPORTSDUDE that having the personality doesn't have anyting to do with dominating the game...(see dwight howard..)
Igetbuckets99- your description could fit Howard too. Aside from M.Gasol and Bynum not many of todays centers have a post game to speak of. You got a lotta jump dhooters like Lopez, Okur, Kaman but they also are among the poorer rebounding centers.
I think hes gonna be special eventually. Wilt i dunno but atleast Bynum ish career stats.
Original wrinkles can be added to any system, of course, but – regardless of the origin – Nash's successor is a big fan of the new offensive order in Phoenix.
"I really think it fits the players we have," Goran Dragic said before handing out 9 assists in the 30 minutes he played in his first outing back in Phoenix. "Especially with a player like Luis Scola, who's a really good passer from the high post."
Drummond went 9-13 from the field with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 minutes in a loss to the Bucks tonight.
I wouldve watched since I'm a Bucks fan but it wasnt on in Wisconsin. Was on in Michigan though.
i wanna know badly too!
i was expecting a poor game from him considering his inconsistencies last year.
cliche alert!!!!- i cant believe he dropped to 9
here we go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkQg65PGqSo
kid is a monster, it's scary he might have the most potential even with "potential" superstar in the class

Andre Drummond is the future best center in the nba. He wants it more than Dwight Howard at the same age. 7-0 275 pounds, howard type athlete, 7'7 wingspan, and WOW 19 years old. Plus he has greg monroe to learn from. if he stays hungry and i think he will, i think he can be the next Wilt. you heard it here first.
