i’m watching Heat-Pistons game Andre so far player only 10mins he has 8points 6rebs 1stl looks like he is everywhere and just has that feel for the game, how in the world he changed that much that fast in only one offseason from a low motor player??

here’s highlights from the other games:

it sucks he has 3 fouls, but I love his productivity when he plays. I wonder how he and Monroe will mesh when they get on the court together more often.

lol what’s sad is that the pistons are one of the worst team and the league and they don’t even play him lol.. 18 minutes a game isnt enough for him, he needs playing time to develope..

Looks like the pistons will win with their second unit…. Daye, Bynum, Charlie V and Drummond

Bynum has done well in the past 2 games. I can see the same thing as last year with the pistons – they will prob win 40-45% of all games now and finish just outside the playoffs and get a 9-11th pick

I like the second unit with Bynum, Daye, Prince, Villanueva and Drummond. By adding Prince in that unit it gives them a little guidance and patience, when things are a getting out of control and it provides a “guard forward” in there to help will bynum out.

The second unit has been outplaying the starter the past 4 games…

Drummond wasn’t necessarily a low-motor player at UConn, that team was extremely dysfunctional after Kemba left and the big men all struggled, it was so bad that Oriakhi left, and Drummond’s stock plummeted.

It’s up to the guards and the coaching staff to get big men involved in the game, especially young guys who need direction. His skill level also shouldn’t surprise anyone who watched his high school highlights. Unlike a Perry Jones where you just saw him dunking, Drummond was using crossovers, picking the pockets of guards and even pulled off Wade’s swing through move in one game.

Glad to see Drummond is proving the doubters wrong, I never backed off saying he was going to be a star for a minute.

Also, keeping his minutes low is a good idea, it prevents him forming bad habits by trying to do too much and having too many expectations, and by bringing him along slowly they are giving him confidence playing against bench guys for the most part.

imagine him with this motivation at his sophmore campaign in college… lock #1 pick? 20&14 with 4blocks per game?lol

Andre gets more and more touches and gets more and more comfortable so you can see not only his physical&athletical dominance but his versatility he saw in HS that move you mentioned was kinda sick for a 280pound seven-footer and waiting his little step-back jumper to be back there too..

him and monroe and knight could get them into the playoffs in a couple of years. and if they get a good draft pick that could only add, i mean the pistons DO have potential
