Durant the next Jordan
Lebron should of never left cleveland. IMO a great player like him growing up in ohio an all would of tried to win that tittle for my hometown. COME ON!!!! im sick and tired of lebron asking for help he had 2 allstars on his team williams and jamison a hall of famer shaq and a hell of a supporting cast... west, anderson varejao, Z anthony parker ....come on and he couldnt get them in the conference finals .... its so obvious he quit in the final game against bostonn

jamison is a 20-10 guy and maybe they did not clash together him and bron but anyway u just said it bron made mo a all star so he is a grat player plus they were the best defensive team in the league they had a great bench they had virtually a better all around team then the lakers and lebron couldnt do anything HE QUIT!!!! his body language in the final game was obvious...
Durant being the next MJ, I don't think he is that, but I do think he is the next player to take Kobe's place as the best player in the League once Kobe retires or starts to decline. I see the same desire and killer instinct that Kobe has with Durant.
Durant is a top 5 talent..but so was Tracy McGady a few years ago..But he's a better defender then T-Mac was..T-Mac is who Durant reminds me of..Also George Gervin a little...
Wait hasn't Kobe already taken that spot as the next Jordan? Durant can try to be the next Kobe but he has a long steep hill to climb if he wants to sit on that kind of throne that is only given to players that revolutionized the game that which I don't think Durant can do because he hasn't impressed much of the fans with players like Kobe and Lebron running around but who knows when he can shut lebron down or atleast contain him then we might have a case to me Durant still has a long way from becomming all around player like Kobe and lebron
Heres the thing, Jordan was so great he cant be compared to in terms of success, competitiveness, mentality, effect on the game and overall greatness. Durant and Jordans games are complecte oposites, and to me Durant plays the way people "dreamed" Rashard Lewis would. In terms of success, greatness and impact to the game I compare him to Kobe Bryant. Although with upcoming parody entering the league I dont know if he will win nearly as many Championships.
I don't see why Durant can't win as many championships as Jordan despite the Heat fiasco. He's only 21, in 6 years he will probably be a multiple MVP and the best player in the League with a solid team around him that has been allowed to grow together due to his long contract signing. Wade will be 34 and LeBron and Bosh will be 31. Don't forget that Jordan had to wait 8 years before he won. If Westbrook can develop in the stud he has shown glimpses of being then Durant and the Thunder could be the dominant team in the League after the Miami deals run out. Durant needs to fill out his frame a bit more, but his stroke is already so nice that he'll be ridiculously accurate in 6 years.
If you think long-term, Durant has a chance to be the best player in the League, hands-down and legitimately enter GOAT discussions. If he can steal a ring or two off Miami before the Big 3 break up then even better.
Kobe hasn't taken Jordans throne yet...I just can't see him as the next Jordan because he only has 1 MVP and he is past his prime and the next couple of MVPs are going to Kevin Durant most likey. If you want to say Kevin Durant has a killer clutch factor compare him to Jordan when Jordan had you down you weren't getting up. Jordan would have never lost in the championship like Kobe did
yall forget Lebron is from Akron not Cleaveland
Mj has been and will always be a legend in basketball history and putting a tag name on someone to be the next Mj is a huge deal, there will never be like MJ, because each player has a unique way in playing their best inside the court, but ofcourse Kevin Durant is such a great player as well and consistent in giving best shots!

Ok since most people hate Lebron now (myself not included) and think he cant be the next MJ because he left his team to win a championship (He did not give up) is Kevin Durant now the next Jordan? Hes young he has a great team he may be the leagues MVP very soon and hes already THE MAN on his team. Is he in position to become the heir to the "GOAT" MJ
