I think I have a very good trade that will benefit both the Nets and the Magic..

    Magic recieve-

    Mehmet Okur

    Kris Humphries

    Deshawn Stevenson

    Brook Lopez

    Nets recieve-

    Dwight Howard

    Jason Richardson

The Magic will get one of the best players they can get and Dwight’s successor in Lopez. Also will get a very good backup and expriring contract in Humphries. Then will get the 10 million expiring contract of Okur and Stevenson’s 2.5 Million expiring contract. They could have the option to bring Humpries back or let all three walk at the end of the season and free up a little over 20 million in cap room.

The Nets obvisouly will recieve the best player in the deal in Howard and hopefully will be able to re-sign both him and Deron Williams this off-season. Richardson could continue to do what he does and hit three’s when Dwight is double teamed or when the deffense collapes while Williams is driving. Add all of these players and most likely a top 8 pick in this years top heavy draft, maybe get a Jeremy Lamb, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or Brad Beal and I believe you have a contender in the Eastern Confrence for years to come.

    Thoughts and Comments??

Not horrible I’ve seen worse Howard trade ideas but I feel like the Magic are looking for more return for Howard. If they do trade howard they need to be looking for younger talent to build around not 3 vets and Lopez.

Yeah I understand that I just don’t see a team giving up too much more for Howard knowing they can take their chances and wait to get him in free agency. Especially a team like the Net’s knowing that Howard has intrest in playing there.

Goudelock is a capable shooter and can be crafty with his floater but with the ball in his hands, he’s primarily looking to score. At 6’3, he’s slightly taller than Johnson-Odom, but not nearly as athletic. Goudelock has struggled defensively at the two.

Keeping the pressure on Fields and Kleiza will be Alan Anderson, Dominic McGuire and rookie Quincy Acy. Anderson won a job in Toronto with his three-point shooting and defense last season and McGuire has impressed at training camp.

“There’s really nothing else to say,” Bryant said with a smirk. “I said what I had to say.”

Bryant said plenty as he sat at his locker Wednesday before the Lakers’ exhibition against the Portland Trail Blazers in Ontario. Although he nursed a strained right shoulder that has since healed, Bryant remained in a jovial mood. He joked that he’s pestered new teammate Steve Nash for winning the 2005-06 MVP with Phoenix, which eliminated the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.o65876
