erichicks14ParticipantBoth are very similar prospects, who do you think is a better prospect?

deuce4offEarl Clark is the #1 SF prospect in this year’s draft……

jnixon24You have to go with Earl Clark here obviously…he is a better player than Brown and will be a better NBA player too.

eprizzle14ParticipantClark but I like Brown as a prospect too, sweet lanky skilled lefty

themidnightriderParticipantFor sure. Brown is more of a PF than a SF, but Clark is really a combo with better SF skills.

clark is more of a PF he has no range on his shot, Derrick Brown is a better shooter and has more hopps.
Brown will be a better James Posey type player.
Clark will be more like Hakim Warrick.

KATASTROPHEParticipantNeither, I dont know why people like Clark I think he will be a bust in the NBA and I dont believe is a dominat college player he is a athlete with a decent handle and overrated defense. And I think his shot is kind of broke he also looks like he doesnt have that work ethic to get better like people think.

moemoe24ParticipantClark never liked contact in college…..cant imagine him being much of an inside force in the League. Clark is a front runner…if things are going well for him he’s a good player, but if he is struggling he has a tendency to shut down. IMO, Clark has a long way to go before he becomes an everyday starter in the NBA. Another year of college would help him tremendously.

triplesss05ParticipantEarl Clark reminds me of a Lamar Odom. He has a ton of talent and potential and is one of the most versatile players in this years draft, but he’s inconsistent on what he’ll give you each night. I think if he goes to a team with an established superstar (i.e. Odom w/ D wade in Miami or Odom w/ Kobe in LA) he’ll prove to be worth a lottery pick because won’ have to be “the guy”. But, if he goes to a team without an established star (i.e. Odom w/ Clippers) then he could turn out to be a bust. So for his benefit, he might be lucky not to go early in the lotttery and therefore go to a better team which would help him get paid on the second contract, IMO.

WildDudeParticipantEarl Clark thinks he can play guard and plays like one but could potentially be a Kevin Garnett impact player, remember how skinny KG was when he came in the NBA… and NO I am not comparing Earl Clark to KG… mainly because he will never play inside. I would compare him to Johnathan Bender with college experience.

KATASTROPHEParticipantNo way!!!! Earl Clark isnt in Benders league as a shooter. Plus if Bender went to college he would be a 20+ per game scorer. Bender and Clark are two diffrent type pf players.

BigTimeJohnParticipantThis guy is overrated. At best he is a role player. Ed Davis of North Carolina is a much better prospect then Earl Clark. Personally, I wouldn’t waste a pick inside the top 20 on Clark.

jnixon24Earl Clark is going to be a productive player in the league…he may have a hard time playing lights out in the playoffs (he seems like a guy that will disappear in a playoff series every once in a while). He will be a player in the league..he is a very physically gifted player. Probably the most physically gifted player in this years draft (maybe Thabeet is though)
