J-CHRISTOSParticipantCocaine is one hell of a drug,Ed Davis Shawn Kemp comparison is wrong on so many levels,by the way how old are you, because with that comparison you must have not seen him play,Ed Davis doesn’t have that type of explosion,a better comparison I seem to hear is Brandan Wright

gatorheelsParticipantBrandan Wright/Jason Thompson

Adi JosephDavis reminds me of young Amare in his freakish athleticism and ability to get to the hoop and dunk it seemingly at will, as well as his ability on the pick-and-roll. Remember, when he first came into the league, Amare was very raw too.

J-CHRISTOSParticipantEd Davis is good, but really show me anything to run home about, smart move to come back for another year

maravich44ParticipantMarvin Williams during his freshman year at N.C. Situations were so similar. Freshman on championship team considered best pro prospect. Same size with raw athletic ability. This one is too obvious.

D7H7NParticipantMarvin Williams was more of a SF and could shoot the ball

Stanford hoopsParticipantwow shawn kemp thats abig negitive right now..he is raw offensively right now good defense though..at this point antonio davis isnt a stretch..davis was a all star for a year…we shall be able to get a better grasp this year since he will get more time and defenses will concentrate more on him instead of thompson and 4 other 2009 draft picks…in all honesty thompson will lead this team this year

WildDudeParticipantRasheed Wallace (minus the shooting ability)

Stanford hoopsParticipantif we are comparing right now thats wayyyyyy off..he doesnt have the offensive ability that rasheed had back then…davis is raw on offense his point was scored on put backs and fast breaks..he doesnt have legit post moves yet…his defense is ahead of his offense right now

trueone313detroitParticipantI think of him as a Less Explosive Kenyon Martin (College Martin).

butidonthavemoneyLaMarcus Aldridge

knicksfreakParticipantI like the K-Mart comparison. Aldridge was much more polished after a year in college. Plus he could shoot.
