Eric Gordon or OJ Mayo in Year 2?

OJ for the simple fact that we will be given more oppurtunities. LA has to many people who can score for Gordon to have the better season.

He was better in highschool, he was better in college, he was better as a rookie, I'm not sure why Gordon would all the sudden leapfrog him.

dont get me wrong eric can score tit for tat with oj but becuase OJ is on a team that will need him to take more shots he will be the better player this year. but look out 4 when these 2 play each other. dont be suprised to c fireworks and eric start taking more shots than usual

Gordon is about to break out,besides all of the high school hype with Mayo,Gordon was ranked higher that Mayo,if Gordon could work on the playmaking skill not be so one dimensional I could be alot better than O.J,another difference is the ability to get separation get pass defenders O.J has a big problem with that

Mayo has been in the spotlight his entire basketball career. He stepped in on Memphis and took control of the team. He is already a top 10 2-guard in the league. Gordon may never be ranked that high.

Eric Gordon didn't play right away,talk about points Gordon had a rookie high with most points in a game.Mayo was good early in the season,but if you check from month to month O.J numbers started to fall,on the other hand with Gordon as the season went on checking month to month Gordon play grew stronger at the end Gordon proved himself if you check espn.com nba section go to rookie rankings you will see at the end of the year Gordon was ranked higher than Mayo,hey man just telling you what it is man check it out

Mayo declined in production because he battled a hip injury, and may have hit the rookie wall because he played from day one unlike Gordon.

wat j christos is talkin bout. Gordon may not pt up the all around numbers OJ did but gordon was jus as good as OJ i think if we talk about productivity. Gordon is freakishly strong fro a guard and is very explosive. His first step combined with his strength is a nightmare 2 guard. and he can shhot with the best of them. the only thing that kept gordon off the floor from day one wa his coach and foul trouble other than that we are looking at a star in the making

Eric Gordon is due for a break out season. He really didn't starting getting playing time until late in the season but he made the most of that opportunity. I see him having a big year that will hold its own against the year Mayo puts up.

ID SAY OJ..mayo is just as if not more explosive then gordan and the fact that his work ethic is unbelievable (tim grover said he has a great worth ethic, top 3 he has ever worked with)

have u seen the explosiveness and strength with the way gordon attack the rim compared to OJ? i mean Oj is def smoother than gordon but if we are going on explosive 1st steps and whatnot u have to classify gordon as better.

My boy Gordon is about to explode!!!!!!!! He will prove he is better than Mayo this year. He may not put up the all around stats that Mayo does, but Gordon is a better and more valuable player. Defense is underrated and Gordon is an amazing on ball defender who can shut down the leagues best guards. I want to take a look back on this prediction in Feburary and see if Gordon is better than Mayo. I hope I'm right!
