Is Evan Turner the Most Improved Player??? Is he a Future All Star??? Potential MVP???
He is most certainly in discussion of MIP. He is striving since sliding to the 3 and is growing more confident in his game as Doug Collins gradually puts trust in both Turner and Holiday to be go-to guys for the Sixers.
He scored 26 points on 26 shots.. Thats not what I want from my go to scorer.
I really like his all around game though.
my dark horse for MIP is andray blatche. he is really taking advantage of the second chance that the brooklyn nets gave him. evan turner is looking strong, still a bit inconsistent but you can really see the improvement in his game when he turns it on. 2 other players you can't count out are oj mayo and anderson varejao. they've really stepped up for their respective teams.
My man ET is a beast, if he can keep this up all season he should have great confidence goin into next season. Either him or Jrue will make the all star team this year. Im liking the minutes hes getting. Go Sixers
He is definitely the front runner right now. I think Varejao, Holida and Harden will continue to make a case.
Eh, the shot was nice, but he also had a crucial turnover which gave the Celtics an opportunity for the lead late in the game. Also, 26 points on 26 shots isn't great.
I don't think he'll be an All-Star, he just doesn't seem very fluid, something uncoordinated about him, I just can't put my finger on it, but I'm not on board with him as a potential star.
Evan Turner is becoming the player we all thought he could be and that is pretty good.
he's averaging 20 points over a 5 game spread for one of the first times in his career and your saying all star and mvp... lol
oj mayo is way more likely to get MIP by the way

Just got back from The Sixers vs. Celtics and I was blown away by Turner tonight, he played very well against rival Boston and scored 26 points and bagged 10 rebounds and 5 assist too, he also hit the game winning basket with under 3 seconds left in Overtime....I always struggled to find a player comp. for Evan and I'm still on the fence with him being the Franchise scorer but after tonight I feel alot better...Is he a MIP candidate, can he be an All Star one day???
