Seems the top 3 are universally agreed upon as Parker, Embiid and Wiggins (in any order).

But what does your team do if it owns a top 3 pick and Exum performs amazingly well in in private workouts?

Does your GM has the courage to take the mystery man and potentially upset the fan-base if he sees something he really likes in Exum?

Would you, as a fan, back your GM to make the right decision, or would you meet it with skepticism?

Teams in the top 3 would surely look at Exum in workouts especially those picking at 2nd or 3rd. I’d guess that even the team with the top pick would look at guys outside the top big 3 including Exum and a couple of others.

Also the huge factor is team need so a lot depends who drafts where, if so it only needs one GM to like Exum and he could go very high.

Personally I don’t think he quite cracks top 3 but looks a legit top 5 pick IMO.

From what I’ve seen which isn’t much I really like exum. I don’t think he is a one like everyone thinks tho. Look at his tapes now and then go back and look at Kobe in high school. It’s hard to compare anyone to a flat out super star hall of famer but as far as body/age I like the comparison. I hope coaches don’t ruin this kid forcing him to play the point. Imagine if Westbrook was 6’6". He would be a 2 guard.

is going to make somebody jump in the next few drafts. There some kid out of Switzerland named Clint Capela, .net has him rated a 90 and 30th in 2014, some sites have him higher and Chad Ford has him at 13. IDK how good he is but I know that tall skinny athleic African immigrants under 20 and playing in Europe’s weak leagues are going to get over drafted because Giannis went underdrafted.

Exum is different and I would love to see him work out against some of the other top talent.

I like Exum over Parker, honestly. Just don’t see Jabari having an impact outside of offensive possessions in which he gets the ball.

The question is for me, would I consider taking Parker over Exum.

Exum is projected top 5 at the moment so is much more known than Giannis was but The Artist makes a very good point about Clint Capela especially with a relative lack of genuine big men in this years’ first round ( 9 guys listed as being able to play either PF or C on Aran’s mock draft).

Clint is just the sort of player who would do a very good combine or measurement and as I always say it only needs one GM to like you.
