First Returns For The All Star Voting
Omer Asik has more votes than Joakim Noah. Different conferences but still, Jo deserves to be an All-Star this year. He will get in by the coaches though.
I just wanna emphasis the absurdity of the Jeremy Lin voting...
He has more than double the votes than Westbrook.
He has more votes than Kyrie, Monta, Jrue, and OJ combined.
If he was a eastern conference frontcourt player, he'd be a lock for the All Star Game.
I rarely say anything like this, but god damn it Asians! You're ruining a game that has no significance whatsoever with your blind subjectivity!
This should be the year Noah and Josh Smith finally make it..They deserve it....
HA Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ( LOL!)
That comment is so so so funny, and you guys all no why!
WTF is this guy smokin!
How do Stoudamire and bynum have so many votes without playing a game?
Idk why people negged me to hell when I said Lin would gets votes whether he played good or bad
I really think Andy should go to the all star game. I know he is a dark horse but he is playing really well.
His only chance is coach selection(he has less votes than shane battier). Considering his game is not suited for the all star game because his best quality is the hustle plays he make and not the flashy dunks and alley oops it will be even harder but he deserves it.
I'm wondering if Dirk still has a shot if he comes back soon.
I don't think he will and this should be the end of his streak, maybe for good with the younger guys like LA pushing.
Feel sorry for Dirk even if I know he doesn't give a damn, really hope he will be fine once he comes back, still a top 10 player imo.
My All Star Teams.
West Starters: Paul, Bryant, Durant, Duncan, Howard.
Bench: Westbrook, Harden, Mayo, Parker, Griffin, Lee, Randolph
Honorable Mention: Marc Gasol, Jefferson, Aldridge, Curry, Lillard
East Starters: Rondo, Holiday, James, Anthony, Noah
Bench: Wade, Ellis, Williams, Pierce, Smith, Varejao, Bosh
Honorable Mention: Irving, could get the spot over Ellis if he stays healthy.
Also, looking at both conferences, the West seems to have a lot more depth in terms of players. I didnt mention Kevin Love, Steph Curry, Serge Ibaka, DeMarcus Cousins, or Rudy Gay, all of which, except Love for health reasons, would have a serious chance at making the Eastern conference team.
The voting is pretty much how I thought it would go. One guy who I think really should get in this year from the Coaches' vote is Tyson Chandler, he was DPOY of the Year and is on one of the very top teams this year so surely deserves a chance.
As regards Lin, do people think the coaches will consider him if Kobe and CP3 get the two starting roles or do they just look at form. You could argue that he should not be in on merit but if he gets the most votes of anyone who does not make the starting 5 then the public obviously want him in.

No real surprises here. Melo and Lebron blowing away the competition in the eastern conference frontcourt wth a gaggle of contenders for the third spot. Guards are headed by Wade and Rondo, so very predictable.
The west frontcourt is lead by the ever popular Durant and Howard with Blake and Timmy fighting for the third spot. The backcourt is lead by Kobe and Paul, with Lin very very close to Paul for a starting position....
As expected. Thoughts?
