This may be viewed as a lame idea, heck, I even think it is kind of stupid myself, but lets give it a try. Since we all have different outlooks who is going where in this draft, and a majority of us are definitely into brainstorming the possibilities, lets do a mock draft with people from this forum as GMs. Just continue the thread with the next pick as a topic, and maybe some commentary as to why.
Here are the rules:
You can post twice, but not consecutively.
Try and be as mature and accepting as possible.
If a post disagrees with a certain pick, and gets positive contributions, than we can veto and go back.
Basically we are doing this on the honor system, we know an approximation of where someone might go, and if someone goes higher than expected, hopefully the person will give us a good explanation of why they think it is a solid pick.

Lets see how this works, I am kind of interested. Well, the first pick of the draft is Blake Griffin, lets see who goes next.

1. Blake Griffin, LA Clippers
2. Ricky Rubio, Memphis Grizzlies

No trades, or factor in a trade, but we are just doing it pick by pick. You may choose teams for some other version of this, but lets try and get this one done. d-grizzly posted, lets have someone else do OKC….

But, you chose the same player, still waiting for number 3. Knicksboy, make a new one, change the rules, do not have to give me first pick as I am sure someone else can choose Blake Griffin for me. Just want to do this as a continuous thing on this forum, thought it might be fun. A big board chosen by the people that post here kind of thing, but just going by pick to make it easier. If two choose at the same time, whoever gets the better reaction gets the pick. Someone other than myself and d-griz choose for OKC, Sheltwon, maybe…..
