dwat4444ParticipantIt’s now officially free agency time. Here are my Coors Light(or is it bud light?) “Cold Hard Facts” for the year.
1. Ben Gordon signs with Detroit
2. Hedo Turkoglu signs for 10.5 mil per with Portland
3. Ron Artest stays with Houston. McGrady doesn’t.
4. Cleveland signs Charlie V, Ilguaskas may op out, saving cleveland a ton of money
5. Ariza stays in L.A. as does Odom.
6. Allen Iverson retires. BAM!!!!
Just covering some topics but there’s plenty of others and other opinions i’d like to see0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 6:18pm #173723

Mr.Duke 1426ParticipantHahaha I like the expression. I don’t see hedo going to Portland. Thy should just keep their roster like it is and let their young players play. I do think Cleveland will get Charlie V and hope that they do. If so I think cleveland is a lock for the finals.

Tim49461ParticipantI like it….hedo to Portland makes them top 3 Lakers Spurs Blazers……IMO that is.

llperezthe one that I can gaurantee you does’nt happen is ZIlgauskas opting out. He is set to make like 13 mill next year, and he would be crazy to opt out of that. He would be lucky to get 5 mill on the open market

RickyRubio9ParticipantThe Entire Season.
1. Neither Cavs or Lakers make it to the Finals.
2. ROY is Curry
3. Jazz end up top 4 seed.
4. Charlotte makes Playoffs
5. Dwight Howard gets injured.(NBA Live curse)
6. Wizards legitimate Contenders.Free Agency
1. Artest resigns with Rockets
2. Iverson to Charlotte
3. Bibby back to Hawks
4. L.O and Ariza will not both be back in L.A.
5. Hedo “magically” stays with the Magic
6. Marcin Gortat becomes a Houston Rockets (Yao talk, Possible Starter?)I’m not trying to be perfect, I wanted to go for some homeruns here. I know it might seem crazy.

the_truth34Participantrockets not playoff contenders without yao
Charlotte will make playoffs
wizards 4th seed next year one of the best offenses
spurs vs. magic finals one of the last times for spurs getting old
Blazers 3 or 2 seed with hedo
lakers sign odom dont sign ariza
cavs sign ariza mid level exception helps vs. magic hybrid power forwards
Boston signs rasheed wallace the height they need
derrick rose top 10 for MVP next year0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 7:04pm #173738
llperezEverything I’ve read the Lakers consider Ariza their number one priority and he should recieve more then the mid level exception wherever he goes.

grizz32ParticipantI have heard the reports about Hedo to Portland but how will they pay for hiim with Aldrige and Roy hitting the market next season
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 7:25pm #173745
the_truth34Participantthat brandon roy definitely wants to stay with portland even if he has to be on mid level exception id ont know bout aldrige but maybe same with him because blazers are going to be best in west here soon
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 7:45pm #173749
MSNYParticipantroy will definitely not play for the MLE. This is a business and people will be throwing bill dollar signs at him, lets see his mentality when those offers start coming in. That being said i think portland will definitely be able to resign both
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 7:56pm #173751
OldSkoolBasketballParticipantRoy and Aldridge will sign extensions this summer I believe. No way were paying Hedo 10.5 mil.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 10:01pm #173760
the_truth34Participantheard that the cavs would rather sign anderson v then charlie V that would be dum mistake if they had charlie v they would definitely be in finals
