feardafro128ParticipantI think it’s crazy that no one has him getting drafted. He single handedly has lifted Florida State to a top team in the ACC. He should be ACC player of the year and first team all ACC. Do people just not know about him or do you all really think he’s not good enough to be drafted. Your Thoughts??
Oh and Jack McClinton of Miami is too good not to get drafted either, just throwing that out there

ncballerCompletely underrated player. Not overly athletic, but he makes tough shots, is a relentless competitor and loves to play defense. Should at least be an early to mid 2nd round pick.

jorrye24He will get drafted. Theyre missing him on the mocks but he will get drafted, especially if he does good in the workouts and at Portsmouth. He is a good defender and he does have a knack for making jumpers with a hand in his face.

drew2288ParticipantToney is a good guard followed since he was at Auburn and McCinton aswell but there will be many guards that are just as good or better that will get drafted. I don’t neither will go in the first round depending on who is coming out and in the second round picks are starting to get dominated by the international players.

canesboy6ParticipantHe has really come on as of late. He reminds me of 2 other ACC players, Julius Hodge and Josh Howard with thier prospects. Howard was late first, a senior who was the best player in the ACC. I dont think he has bad pro potential either. He is really good at getting his own shot, runs point all of the second half. They keep him off ball in the first to perserve his energy, he often plays all 40 minutes. He has good point guard size too, about 6’1 and solidly built. He isn’t a bad athlete, really laterally quick and great on defense, both steals and containment. Can really shoot. I could see him playing his way into the late first if he could lead a sweet 16 run for the noles, he is a winner.

tuck243ParticipantHe is solid for a college player but that is as far as it goes. His whole game is very mechanical. Meaning there is NO fluid movement in his game. I just don’t see a player as a undersize 2 having a mechanical game. He will be lucky to get in the end of the second round. You can name a hell of a lot other players that are better than him. And that says a lot in such a weak draft. I just don’t see it sorry……………………..

feardafro128ParticipantHe is probably going to be 1st team all ACC, how could you say there are that many guards better than him. I see him going to the pros and being like lindsey hunter, a great on the ball defender who can lead by example and still has offensive skills himself. What hes doing at Florida State is unbelievable. I know no one thought they would be in the top 5 of the ACC. They weren’t supposed to go to the big dance, but now to be a 4 or a 5 seed, its all thanks to Toney Douglas. He should go early 2nd round to me.

cycloParticipantToney was just named ACC Defensive Pkayer of the Year and First Team All-ACC.
He beat out other guards like Jeff Teague and Tyrese Rice.
Congratulations, Toney!
