BurkaParticipantHow did he go undrafted??? He is a good all around player who absolutely killed the Draft Camps? Then J.R Giddens who struggled at the camps and put up less than stellar numbers gets drafted in the first round.

Dirty Dirk41ParticipantI Would have liked the Celtics to scoop up Forbes with the 60th pick…Instead they took Erden and most likely will keep him overseas and hell never seen a single minute in the league.

scoutguruParticipantyea man, forbes going undrafted is inexplicable. How does patrick ewing jr who has no position at the next level get drafted but a guy like forbes doesn’t. I mean he was a standout at portsmouth and orlando and did his thing in workouts, but its whatever though, i know if not this year as an undrafted free agent, soon, he’ll be on an nba roster contributing. He’s also a Brooklyn guy like me, so I wanna see him do good.

scoutguruParticipantyea I’m a Brooklyn guy to and remember him coming up thru the high school ranks. I really liked his game and as you guys said earlier, tore it up in the pre-draft games and did so his senior yr. But I think the main drawback of his game according to Aran and a few other people I spoke with was that he was a little to slow and non-athletic for a wing in the NBA. Also mentioned was the fact that he was more of a power forward in a guards body. Nonetheless, I still feel there’s no excuse for him not to have at least been drafted. If a guy like Udoka could be in the league, this guy definitely has a chance to be in there.
