WrecklessParticipantYessss. I for one thought Iggy shouldve won in the first one he entered. Anyways, hopefully next years is better than last years.

llperezi agree, iggy should have won. Nate had the better winning dunk, but it took him 15 trys and it sucked all the life out of the building. Im sure lots of guys can do crazy things if they each took 15 attempts.

TRC1991Participantis rudy that explosive? i know he can jump and hes 6’8” but his personality is very reserved will he be able to ignite a crowd (think gerald wallace)

ilike.panochasParticipantRudy Gay and Lebron James are probably the 2 most athletic players 6’8 or taller, so the guy is more than “explosive”. He has alot of “flare” in him and likes to get up on people’s face after he dunks on them and show boat, you often don’t see because he plays for Memphis.
And this is just one game against the Heat…

ChrischiParticipantIggy
Gay
Shannon Brown
Terence Will? That would be nice. I think Shannon Brown deserves a 2nd chance. Does anyone know why in last years dunk contest he first tried a 360 and when he missed he simply switched the ball to his other hand.

BasterdInABasketParticipantDoesnt nate get a automatic invite cuz he won it last year? I hope not since his dunks are getting really old but no way hes turning that down.
Id like to see shannon brown go for it again or maybe javale mcgee.0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/05/2010 - 7:56pm #369980
RUDEBOY_ParticipantI’m still wondering did the guys that were in last year’s Dunk Contest know that the Contest had started?
those dudes looked lost..and too full of food to move…

2. shannon brown kept doing the same dunk
3.nate robinson won because of his height again
4. everybody looked dual the dunks were pretty basic…..the hotest dunk was Derozan windmill from the side.my 4 people would be…
1.terrence willians
2.sonny weems
3.wesley johnson
4.shannon brown (SECOND CHANCE)0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/05/2010 - 10:40pm #370002

JNixonParticipantShannon Brown doesn’t need to be in it after last year. If Rudy Gay and Iguodala in fact do this is it should be:
Rudy Gay
Andre Iguodala
Terrence Williams
Sonny Weems0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/06/2010 - 5:25am #370061
Lotto StudParticipantRudy Gay is a game dunker & that showed in his previous dunk contest he was in. On the other hand I am looking forward to seeing Nick Young get in the contest he would win it hands down

ghettosermonParticipantRudy Gay was a beast competition dunker in high school, not sure where he’s at now that he’s added weight. But yeah Nick Young or Javale should get invites.

NESTO1977ParticipantDunk contest lovers better pray that James Whites makes an NBA team and gets at least 5 minutes a game to warrant an invite. White, Iggy, D.Rose & Rudy Gay would be the best contest.

Lotto StudParticipantI know everyone thinks that the dunk contest had been weak over the years. I like the rest of you are tired of seeing the same people in it. I made a list of players I think that are capable of giving us a good show that needs to be voted in for the contest. A lot of the players I have either seen in past dunk contests or seen what they are capable of doing on highlight reels. If you have a player in mind feel free to add to my list!!!!!
Terrence Williams$
Amir Johnson#
Bill Walker#
J.R. Giddens*

Brandon Jennings*#
Gerald Henderson*

joecheck88Participantdefinately should be iggy, d rose, and the smiths(jr and josh). thats hands down is the best the nba could come up with right now unless lbj decides to finally do it.
other candidates would be
t will
j mcgee
nick young(could switch with jr if u wanted to)
russ westbrook
chase budinger
shannon brown(could warrant a second chance with in game dunks he will have)
brandon jennings
gerald henderson
blake griffin
john wall
sonny weems

Tobe BryantParticipantI TOTALLLY AGREE with YOU!!!! Damn I wish James White had what it took to be in the NBA! His dunks are inhuman and absolutely amazing! Chances are super slim for him to get a spot on an NBA roster though. Nobody can beat him in a contest if he MAKES all his dunks!

Tobe BryantParticipantWhoever gave me a negative, name me one player who can match James White in a dunk contest….like for real!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/06/2010 - 12:47pm #370302
Lotto StudParticipantI didn’t give you a negative but perhaps…..DRose or Nick Young them 2 are very explosive dunkers
