aamir543ParticipantDamn, Euro Baller posted this 5 months ago, and now the Adetokunbo brothers are all over Draft forums and sites. My guess is that the Thunder reach for Giannis with their Toronto pick(provided it’s not in the top 3) He’s a legitimate NBA prospect, and I think he’s going to blow NBA scouts away in the Combine or personal workouts.
I have to hand it to you Euro Baller, you really nailed it this time.

A Lil EnglishParticipantI would personally only hand it to him when one of these guys actually starts to play (and play well) in the league. There are lots of overseas players who look good in workouts etc and still don’t belong on an NBA court.

European BasketballerParticipantIf you guys would start paying attention, you would know I was right about Pappas, Sloukas, Mantzaris, Papanikolaou etc.
I will also be right about Kavvadas.
For example, the latest reports are that all the biggest teams in Europe are fighting and having a war over who offers the biggest buyout to land Pappas. You guys need to understand I have been telling the truth here the whole time.
Adetokoubo brothers are just the beginning. Eventually, everyone doubting me here will be owned.
Remember, I also am the one that is the FIRST person in the internet to mention Papagiannis. Keep that in mind for later on down the road.

pohani komaracParticipantof corse you are first one metnioned Greek players first, because you are from Greece. you don’t expect some dude from Miami, Kalev or Astana to know some Greek kid who never even had international exposure?
But no you were not right about evrything. Pappas and some others are not NBA material. Kavvadas is not best center prospect in Europe since Sabonis. He is not nowhere best center prospect in europe right now. An no, by NBA standards Kavvadas athleticisam is averge at best, by my opinion he loks below averge athleticly by NBA standars
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:27am #756821
theprophetParticipanti could see some lonny baxter from the little videos i have seen in kavvadas. joseph forte for pappas. i wouldn’t count them out as nba players. they are just not players that would typically last. and it would be hard to go to the nba for them being on the bench the majority of the time when they are greek stars.
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 11:41am #756901
European BasketballerParticipantWhat do you mean hard time being on the bench? Did you even look at how many minutes they play per game?
Besides that, they are far better, FAR BETTER players than Forte and Baxter. Come on. Baxter played in Greece and he was not even half as good as Kavvadas is now at age 21.
Forte to Pappas………………there is no way you have any idea what you are talking about. If you think Forte can average 18 – 20 points a game in a team like Panionios in Greece and Eurocup………..
I mean is this a joke?
Pappas is one of the best players in Europe. Forte was just one of a hundred American players in Europe for the most part. It’s really obvious people in this forum have no clue about international basketball.
Let me give you a comparison……….NBA is to Europe as
Pappas is to James Harden and Forte is to Von Wafer
Please get serious.

European BasketballerParticipant“An no, by NBA standards Kavvadas athleticisam is averge at best, by my opinion he loks below averge athleticly by NBA standars”
—————————————————————————————————————————-
That’s funny considering NBA is loaded with STIFFS at center position. It’s also funny since any average European center gets playing time in NBA, and European SCRUBS like Ohlbrecht even make rosters.
It’s really funny considering this EXTREME overrating you do about “NBA standards” like you are just a cartoon character or something. You know, same “NBA standards” where Greece’s 3-4 string center Koufos is a starting center on one of the best teams in the NBA.
Please just stop. NBA center position is loaded with one scrub and one stiff after another. Kavvadas is much more athletic than the average NBA center and you must be on drugs if you think otherwise. You get more and more laughable with your trolling every day.
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 11:58am #756915
pohani komaracParticipantMan, he is 6’8 center. 6’8 centers and 6’8 players are far more athletic then “best center prospect in europe since sabonis” at best all I see avrege athletic abilitys.
he might play in NBA one day, why not…If he wannts be 8-9 player or bech warrmer, if he wannts that….but what’s the point spending carer like that when he can ern more money in europe and play much more iportant role?
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 10:32pm #757029
European BasketballerParticipantHe’s 6’9″ liar. He is not 6’8″.
205 cm = 6’9″
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 10:53pm #757031
pohani komaracParticipant205=6’8 3/4…anway, i saw in his profile being listed as 6’8…..even so for 6’9 center his athleticisam is avrege at best
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 11:58am #757422
European BasketballerParticipantMore athletic by far than Saric is.
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 1:10pm #757456
pohani komaracParticipantNot realy. stronger and more explosive leaper. Vertical is prety much same. Kavvads vertical of 2 feet quicker and bit higher. Without change of direction or when Saric has room to leap it’s prety much same. On other hand saric is lot more faster, fluid and agile despite being taller (now is 6’11 with shoes for sure) and lot longer. And more iportatly they don’t play same posiution or role. Kavvadas is hevily undersized center, while Saric will probably and as PF with normal standard PF size and lenght
even so Saric is below avreg athleticly by NBA standards, he is avrege athleticly by eurolegue standars.
And that among other thing will unfortunally stop Saric to show his true basketball talent to maximum at pro level wich would be playing as PG and point forward wich is his natrual position, so he will have to adapt alot to whoe difrent role then he played as kid, and unfortunally we probably will never see true Saric talent on pro level, just few flashes from time to time
and that is truth unfortunally
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 4:57pm #757550
European BasketballerParticipantWhy do you have to lie about every Greek player just to downgrade them?
You are making this like Kavvadas is some scrub with no future because he is a 6-9 center. First place there are SHORTER centers than him in both Euroleague and NBA.
Second thing is he is not a center. He is a 4/5. He’s a low post player. He’s not a pure center. He plays just as much as power forward as center and he is more than fast enough to play as a power forward and ACTUALLY that is his natural position and he plays better there.
You just keep making up whatever nonsense bullshit you can come up with EVERY time to downgrade any Greek player.
You have serious issues.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 11:50pm #757616
pohani komaracParticipantNo I don’t down grade him. He has nice future. And there are not much shorter centers. And no, he is not best center prospect since Sabonis. That’s reality, not downgrade
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/25/2013 - 10:24pm #757849
European BasketballerParticipantBoth the NBA and Euroleague have centers that are shorter than 6-9. STOP LYING.
I already told you I was being sarcastic to your endless BULLSHIT about Sabonis. There is really something wrong with you.
All this “not athletic enough for NBA” in all your posts. What is your problem? These guys that only watch NBA say this kind of crap because they are IGNORANT.
What is your excuse? You claim you watch European basketball so there should be NO EXCUSE for you to say this same ridiculous bullshit.
News flash man, the NBA is loaded with players that are not athletic. In fact, the NBA is loaded and loaded and LOADED with players that are LESS athletic than ALL of the European players that you make these stupid comments like “not athletic enough by NBA standards” about.
Are you a troll or just an idiot? Which one is it? Or do you actually believe this nonsense shit you write here? Or is the truth simply that you only watch NBA and are just full of it?

JoeWolf1It’s the same as Dhamp loving everyone from Syracuse, thus being high on Wes Johnson before everyone else. He’s bound to be right to eventually.

European BasketballerParticipantYou continue to troll.
0- Posted on: Thu, 03/21/2013 - 1:30pm #756579
theprophetParticipanti think pappas can play in the league. i don’t think he is a starter in the league like european baller does. but that’s ok, everyone is entitled to their opinions. @european baller though, i know you may not agree with joe but to call him a troll is out of bounds. especially considering you have two accounts and on the same thread here. some may consider that trolling. i don’t doubt you show us players that have skills at the game. a lot of the videos however are inconclusive, leaving me undecided about whether the player you are showcasing is an nba talent or not. if it’s a close call between a college player and an international player, the college player usually gets drafted first due to more exposure. i do appreciate you finding the adetokounbo brothers.
0- Posted on: Thu, 03/21/2013 - 1:41pm #756583
European BasketballerParticipantI do NOT have 2 accounts here. My other account is locked. It got locked because I made a thread and mentioned another draft site and I didn’t know that Aran bans you if you do that.
So that other account is locked and can’t be used.
I am not trolling.

0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 3:09am #756765
European BasketballerParticipantYes, the site should let everyone know that you can’t mention any other draft sites. I had no idea it was even a rule.
