Greivis Vasquez
He is not going to be an all star, there are a ton of great point guards in the NBA. He is a solid point gaurd to have, he could be a quality sixth man on a better team. I have to admit it is fun watching him play.
But he will be a solid player.. Think Jarret Jack, I Lov the way he keeps everybody involved and rebounds the ball, he is such an underated scorer too. In the preolimpics he averaged like 24 points per game for the Venezolan national team...
I honestly don't see very many similarities to Jarrett Jack. Vasquez is an over-sized true point guard, Jack is an undersized scoring guard. They play completely different and I doubt Vasquez will bounce around to as many teams as Jack did either.
Can he make an all-star game as a reserve or something one year? Probably. I mean, who knows?
As far as his game, I've had to get used to him. He's so damn slow. He reminds me of a taller Mark Jackson.
I hate that people who arent All-Stars are dubbed as 6th men on good teams.. How many championship teams have had a truly dominate PG??
It could be aruged that Rondo was dominate when the Celtics won but he was the 4th best player there. Parker was good but not dominate.. Billups was good but not dominate.. Vasques could be a championship PG because he does all the dirty things that compliment stars well..
I love Vasquez but I have to admit that i am shocked that he has become the player he is.. I wanted him to succeed out of Maryland but i didnt think he would.. He is very very competitive and that will do wonders for his career.

He is averaging 14/4/9. I was a big fan of his since his freshman days at Maryland. He has mastered the below the rim game and is just fun to watch. Can he become an all star caliber player in the league?
