Hansbrough a lottery pick ????
If you are a lottery pick in the NBA , then you should either be a starter down the road or one of the first few guys off the bench. I don't see Tyler being anything more than a Chris Anderson type without the shot blocking ability and athleticism.
Agreeable. I think Tyler will be like a David Lee type. He can be a 12-8 kind of player. Teams that need a "bull" player will look at him because you somewhat knows whats he's bringing into the NBA.
Did you guys miss the scouting reports for their combine measurements? Hansbrough has the same vertical as Griffin, same speed, same height. Actually Hansbrough made a great improvement last season on his jump shot and can shoot it 80% from the line so he is much better at shooting than Griffin. I don't think he should be a lottery pick but don't say he's not athletic because he has the same 35 inch vert as Griffin and the same speed.
Given the size of the lottery, there is now a substantial difference between where you are in the lottery. When the lottery was first introduced in 1985 or 86, there were only 7 lottery picks. Since the league has expanded from 23 teams then to 30 now, the number of lottery picks has doubled to 14. I guess there is now a need to distinguish a top lottery picks vs say, the 10-14th, which in previous years would already be considered a "mid first rounder". That said, Hansbrough will not be going in the Top 10, but could end up as a "lottery pick" near the middle of the first round.

This has to be a joke. This guy is not very athletic, nor can he shoot the ball with any kind of consistency. I know the draft is lacking big guys, but this guy is a late first rounder. I'm sure Jordan and the hopeless Bobcats will probably draft a local (UNC) college player.
