Wizards or Thunder. I would love to see him on the Thunder with Westbrook, Green, Thabo, and the man KD!

The only team I see him making some sort of an impact on is the WIZ. That is the one position where they have had constant injuries at the C. (Obviously the PG has not been there this year because of the 100 million dollar man….he’ll be back tho). I just don’t see Thabeet making a serious impact in the NBA. I hope he does though…..

OKC could use a center. I haven’t watched the Knicks much but the only centers for them that I know is Jeffries, Lee who can both play PF and E. Curry who gets no PT for some reason so maybe they should trade up. It would be like the return of Camby, only it would be Thabeet.

It’s Etan and Deshawn (Wiz) last year on the contract to so sounds like a deal to help the Wiz get some cap relief. Haywood is turing into a presence in the middle (seriously) and Javale will learn the game so their good at center.

The pace the Knicks play at might be too much for Thabeet, I dont think he would be a good fit. Honestly I wouldnt gamble on Thabeet he just has bust written all over him…

If people are already calling the big man a bust, there are some serious issues. I mean, you can’t teach 7’3. I’ve watched at least 30 games involving Thabeet within the last 2 years and think that at the very least he’ll perform adequately as a big man who disrupts shots and provides great weakside intimidation above the rim. Guys like that are hard to come by in this league. I can think of perhaps 5+ established NBA centres who provide that (Oden, DeAndre Jordan, Bird Man, Chandler, Dalembert…etc.) Look at how valued those guys are in today’s NBA scene and you’ll see the value of Thabeet in 2 to 3 years. WIth the exception of Blake, Rubio, and major specific team needs, any team in the top 6 should seriously be looking to put this guy number 3 on their on their draftboards. He’ll be a fit anywhere…. if he’s not counted on to play major minutes. Everyone keeps saying that Thabeet cannot function in a high octane offense. I think that if he only plays in 4-6 minute spurts, he’ll be just fine because he’s actually pretty athletic running up and down the floor. What do you guys think?
