ShekiruBoomParticipantlike wtf? i have nothing against battier and he would be a solid pick up but with their cap room, the last thing they should be doing is finding another forward. Number 1 priority should be getting a solid center(that frking joel anthony deal retarded as hell) and then a pg. Im personally with the Heat getting Greg Oden since I see almost no chance his knees would get fucked up again but if it does again for like 4 years in a row OTL Greg Oden lol

j2khitmanParticipantI agree. I believe that the Miami Heat number 1 target shold be a defensive center. I still am optimistic about Oden, but he needs to start showing signs of being healthy now. He has technically been in the NBA for 4 years and has done nothing because of his health. It’s a shame because I believe he would’ve been going back and forth with Dwight Howard for the best center in the NBA. Getting back to Battier. He would be a solid pickup. I always loved his game because he is a solid defender, has a high IQ, can hit open jump shots, and is a team player. He can do a little bit of everything and most importantly, he is a leader. Soemthing that Lebron isnt yet.
