Get Rip Hamilton out of the f*cking game.  Multiple turnovers, bad passes, missed shots, poor d, horrible foul on the fast break.  He looks awful right now.

Damn, just imagine if the Heat had signed Korver instead of Miller that summer. I really like what Korver does, he runs well, gets open, and he has such a nice silky smooth release. He’s an undereated weapon because when you already have Rose whom the defense has to focus on, and then you add Deng who can create his own shot and get to the rim, plus Korver whom you have to chase off the line, that’s a kill lineup. I’m still holding out hope that Hamilton can be good for 12 a night, and would be an good weapon in May when Rose is being hounded by a 6-8 265 pound giant.

i saw one comment not long ago saying how good battier signing was for the heat.

while it wasn’t a terrible, it wasn’t a good one. battier has struggled all year. when he’s on the floor, a lot of times they’re playing 5 on 4 on the heat, forcing battier to shoot.

trust me, lots of heat fans have been complaining about battier’s play… and even as a non-stat guy, his 5p-2r-1a-1s per 23 mins has been everything but impressive

The one good thing about Miller is his rebounding it gives them the versatility to play a small lineup with Bosh and even sometimes Lebron at the 5

Doesn’t show up in stats. Its his defense, and thats why they wanted him. The three point shot was just extra. Think about it, Lebron will be able to guard multiple positions now with Battier on the floor.

^I know he hasn’t played particularly well this season, but he’s shooting 34% from three, not great but not too bad, if he can get tht up to 37% that would be better, but his defense is still great, and that’s what it comes down to, if you can defend, coaches will find a place for you on the floor.

what’s number are the bulls reaching on the panic scale for rose right now? he’s looked like a shell of himself tonight, i don’t think i’ve seen him hit top speed once in the whole first half and even when he gets into the paint he’s looking to kick out instead of exploding toward the rim, i know he’s been banged up but with 8 games left i think for them? … i’m starting to wonder if they can expect him to be the force you expect of him in the playoffs.

^Panic scale, I know what you mean, the guy might have some nagging injuries, but compared to the rest of te guys, he snould be fresh, this is the second game he’s played in a month. When the playoffs come around, the rust will be gone and he’ll be fresher than everyone else, because the play around the league has just seemed so lethargic of late.

aamir is right.  The Heat really would have been better if they signed Korver.  He is so good coming off of screens.  I would say he is the 2nd best in the league at that, after Ray Allen.  The Bulls offense has been so reliant on him down the stretch here.

That move by Watson was dirty! Heat lost all their heart in OT

in all honesty, its all spo’s fault. that defensive scheme on the last play of regular time (watson’s shot) was terrible.

triple team korver and leave the dude open in the corner… typical heat help defense

Actually played tonight. I mean they came at the Bulls with everything. OT was something else though. Bulls took control. An impressive victory with out Rose, but you’ve gotta wonder…what about the playoffs.

as a heat fan im scared. i think the heat in the finals is far from a sure thing, much less winning it all. our offense is pale, and we rely on the big 3 too much, the rest of the team is extremely inconsistent. cole, hit the rookie wall. battier struggled all year. mm just came back, and didn’t look good. we haven’t been playing jj, don’t know why. joel cant score and haslem has been missing open shots all season.

when our role players aren’t aren’t making threes, the paint gets clogged and from there on you know the story….

BTW, SECOND TIME BULLS BEAT US WITHOUT ROSE.

Is there any other team in the league that could play 6 bench players and Luol Deng in OT and beat the Heat? No. Definitely not.

Not that I’m a Heat or Lebron fan or anything, but as a basketball fan, I wanted Lebron to seize the moment so badly. I wanted him to say, "Screw this, give ME the fuccking ball." I wanted him to take that shot even if it was a fadeaway 40 footer. I kept waiting for him to take over in OT, impose his will, dominate the court, make the Bulls wish that they’d put it away in regulation, and just walk away with that grin. I kept waiting, I’m still waiting……………………

Bulls are just a much more balanced team.  Bulls in 6.
