The Heat are hosting the Pacers and are leading after the 1st quarter.

If the Pacers don’t end this streak, who else can?

Barring a slip-up by Miami, they won’t have a competitive game until they play the Celtics. By then, the streak would increase to 22

milwaukee plays them at home soon and they cause match up problems. that is a possibility. it is also a possible pre playoff match up.

They get punished by David West everytime they play them. West is too big for Battier.

And Miami has blown this game open. Up by 20 now and they’re playing some very tough defense. Chalmers-Bosh-Wade-LeBron are dominating the 3rd quarter, scoring 17 points in the first 5 minutes.

The Heat definitely came out with a point to prove. They were playing with playoff type intensity right from the opening tip. Other than David West, the Pacers didn’t bring A game.

The Pacers came out flat in the 1st quarter and then let the Heat go on a run to end the half.

The one thing I’ve liked this game though… The Pacers have played GREAT defense on LeBron. Stephenson has held his ground defensively. They try to pick on him, but I love the way he bounces right back up.

    Pacers need Danny Granger healthy.

You said it. I think Bosh is really the X-factor for this team. They focus so much on LeBron and Wade that it leaves bosh at times wide open. And he’s too tall to close out on defensively at times. On top of that, the three of them are versatile being able to score in a variety of ways. Its a tough matchup for anybody.

With that being said, Chalmers won’t have a lot of games like this lol. Js…

Paul George 2-11 and five turnovers.

He’s too important and too good to not show up in a big game like this.

But yea… The player on the Heat I feel the Pacers really have no answer for is Chris Bosh.

The Pacers need to get Granger back healthy, finish the season strong and lock up the two seed… And then they’ll see Miami again in the ECF’s.

I guess that will have to be the next part of George’s development (consistency).

What in particular do you want Granger can bring to this team? Bench scoring? More length? Personally I don’t think he is enough for Indiana to unseat Miami. They are just too good, Indiana needs Paul George to be consistent as well as Hibbert and West to do what they do.

The biggest thing I want to see is the Pacers management to go out and find an Ass. Coach that’s sole focus is implementing an offense that works.

If Rose can come back to at least 80%, it’ll be a great series if the Pacers and Bulls matchup in the 2nd round

Still concerned about the PG position for Indiana, we need a more dynamic play-maker. (looking at you Stephenson)

    @Festar35

The chances of anybody unseating Miami are slim to none. Not with LeBron, Wade and Bosh firing on all cylinders and the role players making shots like that. You’re right… They’re too good, especially defensively. They Pacers couldn’t even get into their offense. I felt like every pass was about to get intercepted. Other than David West, nobody could get anything going really.

Danny Granger gives the Pacers a veteran offensive threat who isn’t intimidated by the Heat’s star power.
