What The DevilParticipantApparently Dwight to LA, Bynum to Cleveland, and Picks/Relief to Orlando.
This could screw Houston so much since they have put all their eggs in the Dwight basket.
Source-Hoopshype
This is good for Cleveland since Bynum had them on his FA list.
LA gets a big defensive big.
Orlando begins their rebuilding.

TyroberParticipantWho does Cleveland send? Orlando has to be getting some young talent back and the Lakers don’t have much of that. Do they give up Waiters and Thompson?

The White MambaParticipantAny idea on what cleveland gives up in this trade?

Jar Of Funky CrumbsParticipantLike I said before bro, Hennigan needs to get what he can get and ship that guy out of town ASAP. This has really become a pain in the ass of the sports world lol

What The DevilParticipantI would dare say Cleveland will have to give up draft picks since LA doesn’t have many after the Nash trade….I imagine it would have to be unprotected 1st rounders and maybe TT/Waiters…..I think I read somewhere that Cleveland has like 7 first rounders in the next three years?

UNCbasketballbumParticipantI guess nobody liked my idea about the "no more Dwight Howard posts"

nick5354Participanti think I read Cavs give up Thompson, zeller, wildthing + picks.
I actuallly don’t like this trade for my Cavs. I just don’t liike Bynum, he is still so immuture plus I really love TT, has shown already much improvement and has so much potenial and is Clevelands hardest worker.

The White MambaParticipantIf Cleveland held on to either Thompson or Waiters i think this is a great trade for them, pairing a highly skilled big man with Kyrie could mean a great core for years to come.

Cavaliers420ParticipantI don’t like the idea of this trade if we trade Waiters and TT. Bynum is good but the possibilitys those two bring to a team are waaaay more appealing to me then testing the waters with Bynum who is known also for his consistant injury problems. If we can trade Andy and picks for him and he’s willing to commit to a full contract I’m totally down for this idea.

What The DevilParticipantI wonder if Orlando will be able to unload Richardson, Hedo, Duhon, and Big Baby….if they are able to get rid of those contracts and get picks it will be a monumental win for them

NbanflguyParticipantI have an idea for a trade. 3 team trade between orlando, houston, and mars. Orlando sends their bad contracts to houston, Orlando sends Dwight Howard to mars, and mars sends rare billion dollar space rocks to both teams.

lilballa141ParticipantMars BIG losers in that trade.. they get a 6"11 cry baby and give up multi billions

buckeyefan17ParticipantSince they signed contracts Waiters and Zeller cannot be traded until January 2013.
Trade Bait Cavs have
AV
Thompson
Gee
Expiring players such as Boobie and Walton
Draft picks: Cavs have both their 2013 and 2014 picks, Kings top 13 protected pick in 2013, Miami’s first rounders in 2013 and 14

aamir543Participant^If Waiters and Zeller just signed contracts, I see no way this deal can get done for now, it seems like Dwight will stay with the Magic, because Houston’s deal isn’t as great as we all thought it was, they can offer a lot of prospects, but they’re only letting the Magic have one of their Rooks, and not letting them have Montie.

buckeyefan17Participant^ Yea I would be pretty shocked to see this happen but getting something for Dwight now rather then nothing next year is something they have to keep in mind. They wait till the deadline to trade Dwight the Magic then won’t have nearly as high of a pick next year which means they could miss out on Noel, Zeller, etc. Not to mention besides picks/players the Magic could be sending a J-Rich and/ or Hedo bad contact back to the Cavs to help rebuild. Maybe I’m just being a homer though…

llperezas a laker fan, im so tired of the howard talk. Keep bynum, he is gonna challenge howard for best center in the league soon anyways. he is making strides every season now that he is healthy while dwight is pretty much the same exact player today that i remember from the 2009 finals.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/14/2012 - 5:44pm #696130
What The DevilParticipantApparently this trade talk is hinging on Bynum signing an extension with the Cavs….Magic would get Andy, TT and picks.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/14/2012 - 6:02pm #696142
TallmanNYCParticipantDoes Howard need to sign an extension with the Lakers? I thought he didn’t want to do that? I thought he didn’t want to play with Kobe?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/15/2012 - 8:01am #696315
NYK2010ParticipantActually its TT and Waiters who are the unknown while Bynum is the sure thing.
Injuries are always a concern but 1 year the freak play when Kobe fell into his knees was out of the ordinary.
Also he stayed healthy with last years schedule hectic schedule.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/15/2012 - 8:08am #696320
akhan786ParticipantIf I was Cleveland I wouldn’t waste their young assets so early in the rebuilding process especially since Bynum says that Cleveland could be an attractive destination in Free Agency.
Keep your young guys, get another high draft pick this year, and get Bynum in free agency.
