High School Basketball on ESPN to tip off @ 8pm est

Excited for tonight, Gordon, Twins, and DJ Williams of Simeon. Any one else out there think Parker won't be that good in the NBA?

I wonder how much Jabari will play. He's out of shape and carrying some extra baggage.

Andrew Harrison is injured too, but I don't know the extent of the injury. He missed their last game which they lost.

That despoto game is only like 20 minutes away from where I am ,so ill try to make that game .

Also need to see them play for when our varsity plays them because where in the same district as them which is one if the best in the nation

I really hope Andrew's injury isn't that serious so he can play tonight, I want to see how dominate his HS play is compared to Rose Evans Wall.

What are your thoughts on the Harrison twins and Gordon as you watch?

Aaron Harrison has JR Smith like shot selection. I understand he's more talented than his teammates but his hero ball is ugly. Even if his brother was healthy, I think he'd still take his share of awful shots. He really knows how to draw fouls though. He's not the quickest guard, but he's got a nasty handle and knows how to use his body to create space and contact.

Andrew's injured, this isn't a good game to evaluate him.

Aaron Gordon doesn't look like a SF at all, but he's sure trying to look like one. Aaron Harrison put him on skates a couple times. His handle isn't good either. He tries some advanced moves but it just looks sloppy and premeditated. Good passer and great teammate though.

Aaron Harrison reminds me a bit of OJ mayo

Aaron Harrison's game is slower than expected and has a poor shot selection as said above, I thought he would be more explosive as a bigger guard and have that killer instinct to not rely on his jumper where he shot very poorly going 6-27 before OT majority of his points came from the line

Matt Jones - Desoto looks good so far. Nice pure jump shot. Finish with the left. Long arms, also running some point.

I understand Jabari has been sidelined for 5 months but damn he HAD to have been eating some twinkies.

I can tell that he hasn't worked out an athlete's diet yet which is common for high school athletes.

What a letdown overall.
Not a good night for prospect watching. Matt Jones looked great. He looks quicker off the bounce now and even showed some PG skills, but he looks like a 3 yr college player to me at least.

Jabari was an absolute liability out there.

I was highly disappointed in Gordon. I had heard so much talk about him but when i tuned in, I absolutely saw nothing that was worth talking about from his game. HE has no handles at all, it was frustrating t see him trying to handle the ball. His fluidity is not that good. I think he just benefits from being on that team where he is clearly the best player. IDK, but maybe i have to watch him some more. I just didnt see a skill set.

BTW did any1 notice Andrew Harrison was listed at 6'6....
