chall23ParticipantWhich current players would you say have a good shot of making it to the Hall? I recentely read something that said that Bosh had a better chance of making it then Melo…. I understand Bosh has a ring, but come on hes a fine player but he isnt even on the same planet that Melo is…. your thoughts? thanks

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantCP3, Melo, Miami big three, Ray Allen, pierce, Garnett, San Antonio big three, Dirk, Kobe, Dwight, Pau, Nash, Kidd is what I can think of off the top of my head. Guys like Andre Miller, grant hill, billups are 50/50

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantNo, he is our generations(teens) dominant center. He’s also been a stalwart on defense

mavsatxParticipantfair enough… I feel like this season just clouds my judgment of him in some regard and I really wish he could impact the game more offensively but his defensive abilities are undeniable

Chilbert arenasParticipantI really think rings are overrated when it comes to the HOF, should Robert Horry be in there? I’m not a Melo fan but I do know he should have a better chance than Bosh.

tiberiusParticipantCarmelo is certainly one of the greatest offensive players of recent times, and I do believe his chances on being a HOF selectee are higher than the Bostriches. Before I get to why, let’s not forget that the Bostrich is TOronto’s all time leading scorer and at a time was considered one of the best power forwards in the league. His game will allow him to play well even late in his career as it isnt based on athleticism. I think that Carmelo just had the misfortune of playing in the time of Lebron James and Kobe Bryant so if it weren;t for these out of this world players, his career would have been a lot more successful. Just like in football when Platini sayed that if Messi and Ronaldo played in 2 different times, they’d have 12 halons d’ors.

akhan786ParticipantHaven’t seen Carter mentioned yet as a sleeper pick. No love for Vinsanity?
It’ll be hard for him to get in but I still think he has a shot.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantSeriously people on here think a guy who has never been an All-Star or made it past the first round of the playoffs deserves to be considered for the Hall of Fame? Smh
