LegendParticipantWho do you think the hornets should draft or pick up this offseason. They are a pitiful rebounding team and def. need some help in that aspect. I want to see Deandre Jordan go there becase i think he can develope into a real solid player. He’d bring rebounding and shot blocking and strenth to all the thin frail big men of the hornets.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWow. Where to start. Draft the best player avaliable that is not a PF. That is the only position I feel that they are deep at. Maybe SF too. They need another PG to rest Paul. A SG that can get to the rim and probably start. Peja and Wright at SF. West and whoever wants to move over ( Wright and Armstrong can play here along with Marks ) at the PF. If they loose Chandler, they have Armstrong and Marks??? Definatly try to get a C if they dump Chandler or not. WOW! They are a good team with alot of holes.

thekingParticipantThey should trade the pick. Trade it to a good team that wants to get younger. Maybe the Lakers or Orlando might be able to use the pick. What about the Suns if they trade Amare. Howabout David West and the first round Pick for Amare Stodamire. Now they are a championship contender. They might have to throw in Peja Stoyacovich. That would make both teams much better. Right? Maybe they could make a trade with Miami for Jermaine O’neil. O’neil has a big contract. Maybe miami trades it to go young and just barely makes the playoffs in 2010.

Str8NolaParticipantIf you believe this, you are a moron.
Amare does not make us a title contender. He doesn’t play defense and thats what we need. It’s also what wins championships.
We need some fresh blood from NCAA and to save cap room for 2010.

JevaughnWhitakerParticipantWhat do the hornets need? Not a PF. There deep enough with PF’s. West, Posey, Wright and Sean Marks. One is a good scorer but the other three can put up minutes to give a dominate scorer in west a rest. SF, they could use a small forward peja’s contract is coming to an end and he’s getting preety old and not as effective as when he played for the kings. Chase Budinger is a good person to take in the draft for a two or three spot. SG, yea Rasual Butler isn’ cutting it. I think they should look at the free agents. Ben Gordan would be a another dominate scorer in this offense scoring over 20 points per game. If they dont go out and get Ben Gordan they could possibly draft a good scoring SG in the draft like Terrence Williams or Wayne Ellington. The Gaurd position I think is covered with Paul and Antonio Daniels coming of the bench who could play more minutes. C, with a good rebounder leaving in Chandler they could use BJ Mullens from the draft who is a high risk high reward player and if he developed to the nba from college would no dought start over Hilton Armstrong.Thats there road to success and could win them a CHAMPIONSHIP.
