Memphis taking Thabeet. Shoot me Aran. Did you bother to watch Mayo and Gay play together at least once last year? Adding Thabeet to this team is a diaster waiting to happen. I cannot stress this enough to people as a Basketball Fan and then a Memphis Grizzlies Fan that Marc Gasol is a 5 not a 4. They Draft Rubio and trade him to Sacramento For Jordan Hill, Donte Green and the 23rd Pick.
I personally see Oklahoma not passing up on Thabeet at 3.
Minnesota would much rather take a gamble on Flynn and Jennings over Curry.
I like the thought of Reke at 10, but I think Henderson’s the pick here.
I disagree with Blair going to Charlotte. You have Both Okafor and Diaw that can play pf on that team. I think a Kaman Deal does happen in a Raymon Felton Swap.
I’m dying to see how much weight James Johnson can shed playing in Gentry’s offense.
I don’t see how Jeff Teague remains in this draft. His stock has dropped drastically.
Atlanta taking Tyler Hansbrough? I know he had a good combine and measurements, but he screams sheldon williams at that pick.
Earl Clark does not drop to 21. I’m sorry if he does he’s the steal of the draft.
Ty lawson at 22? Please. When did Tyler Hansbrough become the better draft prospect of the two of them this year?
I’m not sold on Jrue Holiday either. Kids got game and Ucla hid his talent. Bottom line is that he can play and be a serviceable combo guard in this league. He can go anywhere from 7-20 in my mind.
I think Damion James is one of the most intriguing prospects in this draft. I would not be shocked when everything is said and done that he has a better career over James Harden.
I think Derrick Brown is rising more than anyone. He could be a late lotto pick at the rate were going.
Dajaun Summers needs to come back. He’s a stud waiting to happen in the NBA, but now not the time.
Despite his age I think Gibson goes earlier. If anything he’s a solid role player in the NBA.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantyou lose credibility. I’m an admitted Jrue fan, but regardless of my opinion of him, he’s not sliding to 24. I don’t even think there’s a very good chance he slides out of the lottery, but 24? Come on.

bflaa2ParticipantWhen did he drop so low? and Jrue Holiday C’mon its sick I am not big on him going 4 to Sacromento but he will go higher than 24, HE WILL NOT SLIP OUT OF THE LOTTERY!
I also dont like curry to Minnesota. He is a Undersized SG turned PG which is the same as Randy Foye. They made the mistake once please Twolves dont make it again.

auberParticipantYou know they will Bflaa. It’s Minnesota. I wouldn’t be suprised if BJ Mullens is the pick at 6.

GreenLanternParticipantI read OKC isn’t even interested in Thabeet, which makes sense because he doesn’t fit their style of play very well although I believe he can still be effective in it in spurts. Thabeet needs a half court need ala Houston with Yao Ming controlling the paint. If Thabeet somehow slips past #3 (not likely), what then for everybody else?

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t agree w/ this dude’s mock draft at all. This dude Aran is a little suspect.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantbut he runs arguably the most successful draft site around… who’d a thunk.
props to him though, the site has come a long way the past year or two.

GreenLanternParticipantTo me Aran’s mock is probably based on where everyone SHOULD be drafted rather than where players WILL be drafted. When you look at his first mock that way, it makes a heck of a lot more sense.
