Wolves would become a contender with a trade for Dwight.  With all the assests Khan has gather, it’s time for him to make a move and bring in a Star like Dwight.

Wolves trade away assets:Martell Webster, J.J, A. Randolph and then their pick of the following two players, Brad Miller (or Pekovic), and Derrick Williams (B Easy).

    Magics:Dwight Howard and Redick.

I think this would be a decent trade for the Wolves to still be a contender.  As long as they are able to keep, Love, Rubio and one of the two (B Easy or D. Williams). Imagine; Dwight, Love, B Easy, Johnson, and Rubio.  That sounds like a good team in the league.  They will get all the rebounds in the league with Love and Dwight.  If Khan was a good GM, he’ll make it happen.

I’m a Wolves fan, and trust me, I want this to happen. But this is about as realistic as the Vikings winning a Super Bowl. The Wolves wouldn’t even have a shot at a deal that didn’t include at least Love and/or Rubio, Beasley/Williams (or both), and Randolph. Smith and Kahn may have the IQ of five year olds when it comes to building teams, but I don’t think either of them are dumb enough to even consider this more than a joke.

You are a very slow learner…  If the Wolves make the playoffs there’s a good chance Kahn wins executive of the year.  I do believe that between you and Kahn that one of you are stupid.

As much as that would help Minnesota, it will never happen.

It’s not really up to Orlando where Dwight goes, he’s doing what all the francise players are doing, giving the team a list of teams where he is willing to sign b/c that’s the best possibility for him to win a championship.  Why would Dwight go to MN if he can’t play with Rubio and Love?  MN has enough assests to trade for Dwight if he’s willing to sign.  Orlando would want young guys and draft picks and they have a lot of that.

With Howard and Nash the Lakers have the league’s highest payroll at just under $100 million. As a team, they don’t exactly exemplify youth, meaning their championship window as assembled won’t be open for long. Plus, Howard is an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.

The talent level of the Mavericks is certainly high, but problems have surfaced in the past with teams who has a couple of guys playing for new deals. A team full of them could spell trouble, but Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle is a very player-friendly; he’s one of the best coaches in the league to take on a challenge like this.

”We’re finding out our strengths and how to combine them,” Gasol said. ”We have two main guys out, and they make a big difference, so we’ll have to see how we play when we’re full force.”

Joining Dragic in Phoenix is veteran Luis Scola, who was Dragic’s teammate in Houston over the last season-and-a-half. Dragic started for the Rockets for the better part of the last two months of the season in 2012 and responded by averaging nearly 17 points, 7.5 assists and shooting over 48 percent from the field.

“Yeah, no team can discover a mismatch to our team,” Green said. “No matter if it’s me, Brandon (Bass), Kris Joseph, KG. We have guys who can play multiple positions, Courtney (Lee), and we can match with any team. So, it works to the best of our abilities to put a lineup out there that can guard anybody.”

Hopefully it’s enough to get him a roster spot. There’s not a whole lot more he can do to make the team. The stats have been strong, the team has a need for an extra center, and he’s got a perfect attitude and work ethic. Houston’s roster is a bit of a mess, but Smith would be a nice addition.

“Yeah, I love it! I’m going to make everybody eat their words, man,” Waiters said. “That’s the biggest thing. I’m not worrying about anything that is going on. Like I said, I’m young, it’s a learning experience for me. At the end of the day, I’m just going to play my game and continue to work. The sky’s the limit for me.”

“I haven’t really seen him where he’s not confident,” Scott said on Friday. “It’s just a matter of him getting more comfortable with what we’re doing and he’s getting more comfortable every day. As we keep saying, he’s going to be a good player. There’s no doubt about it. This is still a growing stage for him, he’s still learning, and he had his best night tonight.”

“I told the players that I’m going to use the entire month to try and focus and find the right fit for this team,” Smart said. “I used Tyreke in training camp at the one, two and three. So I’m going to look and focus on what group of players can fit together and not over-step each other. But Tyreke was by far our best defensive player on our team during training camp. So I’m looking forward to him being able to fill multiple roles for our team.”[080-80789

“As we’re speaking, I’m getting ready to put together a tape from where we were last year, and how he performed defensively, to what he’s done in training camp,” Smart said. “The guy has shown that he wants to commit to that side of the ball. He came in camp in great shape, did a great job in everything we were doing and wants to take the next step. He’s got to be consistent in his play every night. I said to him that he should be an all-defensive player.p79797

While Nowitkzi’s hesitancy to go under the knife is easy to understand, the Mavericks aren’t really in a position where they can afford for him to be ailing all season long. With all the changes made to his surrounding cast, they are going to rely on him just as much as they ever have, maybe more.u6456546535

“It is a process for a rookie,” Casey said. “He is not that far behind because the one thing he can do that makes up for a multitude of sins is he can shoot the ball at the end of the day and that’s part of the process too.
