How are people amazed that Lebron James plays for the best NBA team. He has played for the best NBA team for the last 5 years. The fact that the Miami Heat did not have the best record last year is a testament that the coaching was subpar. Lebron James played for the best regular season team in 08-09, 09-10 winning 61 and 66. Both years with less talent than Miami’s team last year. Lebron has played on a team that has won at least 50 wins all but one of the last six years. What the Heat is doing is not amazing, its normal for Lebron.

Its not just the fact the that are winning its how they are doing it. The are playing amazing defense and on their current win streak they are beating teams by an average of like 15 ppg (can’t remember exact number). Last night they made Portland look like a D-league team the final score did not even reflect how bad the heat beat Portland

Cleveland with the family picture shows at halftime. They sung, danced and had a ball. They were blowing teams out. Thats the hole point of the post.

Cleveland was never nearly as dominant as the heat are this year, they were good and won a lot of games because they had the best player in the league. The heat have two of the top ten and 3 of the top 25 best players in the league. In Cleveland Lebron never had any teamate even remotely close to as good as Bosh or Wade, the best player he played with in Cleveland was Mo Williams…..

less amazing. He’s a few years older and in that 26 to 32 year old prime and has more talent around him.

nine more points per game than their opponents, that’s counting loses. Then won 8 straight playoff games by a average of like 16 points!

I believe ESPN stated that since they kept track of individual turnovers in 1977-78, no one had ever recorded a game hitting 35 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and no turnovers. That is, until LeBron dropped 38, 11, 6, 5 and no TO’s last night against the Blazers.

It is not necessarily that I am surprised that LeBron is on a team with the best record, but he is just playing super efficient basketball. His team seems to be playing really efficient as well, not to mention that LeBron is shooting 55% from the field (which, for a player averaging the amount of points LeBron does, is incredibly impressive) and seems to be possessed on defense.

Obviously winning a championship is the most important thing for him and we will have no idea how he plays under pressure until (or if) he gets there. But, someone playing at this level is certainly encouraging. This team looks much more cohesive than any of the other teams he was on and they seem to have much fewer weaknesses.

The fact that he appears to have found better balance with Dwyane Wade, who is another one of the best players in the world, is also very encouraging. Not to mention, Bosh may not be in their class, but he is still looking like the best third option in the league. Throw in the play at PG of Chalmers/Cole, not to mention the role players being healthy, this team looks really good right now. I do not know if people are "amazed", but I am at least impressed by how well LeBron is playing right now and the position the Heat are in.

They still have challengers, but they certainly seem to be firing on all cylinders at the moment, at least more so than last season. This team definitely looks less likely to be taken advantage of than LeBron’s Cavs team. Plus, LeBron looks a lot more complete as a player this year than last. Only time will tell what happens in the play-offs, but for now, all you can really focus on is that the Heat are looking pretty good and do not seem to have major health issues. Looks like a good sign.
