It’s a slow period for nbadraft.net so let me ask you this question: barring any major injury how many career points do you see Kevin Durant scoring for his career? I see over 30,000 easy as he is only 24 but has already won 3 straight scoring titles, and is getting better every year. What do you guys think?

Barring injury he’s headed in the direction of being 5th All-Time, behind Kareem, Kobe, Lebron, and Karl Malone, in no particular order. He could pass Lebron, but it’s just too early to predict this stuff, but barring injury he’s a surefire bet for 30,000+, but strange things happen, remember when T-Mac and Yao were one of the scariest duos in the league? Stevie Franchise and Yao? Remember when Marbury and and KG looked like Durant and Westbrook? When we hoped Amare and Marbury would never end? When Grant Hill was on his way to stardom in Orlando with T-Mac? When Lenny Cook was the big shot and Lebron was trying to catch up with him? Times change quick, but I really hope he stays healthy.

it’s more interesting for me will he made his mark showing his greatness while not only winning scoring title but also making historical avarage for a season like Kobe or T-Mac A.I. did..how many he could average in his prime?

 

idk why but i feel it’s not this year but a year after IF he won’t win it all once again and IF LeBron will dominate once again then 26yo at that time  Durant should go for a freakish season with like 32ppg..but i don’t think he can make around 35 mark like Kobe or Jordan because he is just not selfish enough..or at least with Westbrook out there because i feel this guy could be perrenial 25ppg too, don’t forget he is only 23yo and the guy is sick too
