kerrstParticipantI think the Raps should trade Bargnani and Calderon for Tony Parker and Matt Bonner.
Raps solidiy the point and make a great tandem in Parker and Bayless. Bonner’s a fan favourite and his outside shooting (an area the Raps struggled with) would be a nice bonus off the bench. Parkers up tempo play would really mesh well with the Raps style of play and combined with Derozan, give the Raps a fast backcourt that can score and get into the paint with the best in the league.
Spurs do the deal as Hill played well when Parker was injured and having a great backup in Calderon would help him flourish as a fulltime starter. Bargnani finally gives the Spurs a quality big man that can ease the strain on Duncan during the season and form a formidable talented front line for the playoffs.
Another PG deal would be to package Bargnani and Barbosa to Denver for Felton, a signed and traded Wilson Chandler and Koufos to make the numbers even,
Raps get a great young pg in Felton, a defensive minded SF starter in Chandler and a big body in Koufos. Felton’s style of play like Parker’s also fits with the Raps and he is a good perimeter defender. Chandler does a bit of everything, plays tough D and can guard multiple positions. The Raps get better on perimeter defence and would just need to add a defensive center either through the draft or free agency.
Denver gets a talented PF to put up some of the scoring numbers lost in the trade of Melo and potential loss of JR Smith. Not to mention a scoring guard like Barbosa to give the bench a boost, also doesn’t hurt that he would be playing with fellow brazillian Nene.
Please dont respond by why the raps should keep Bargnani, I have read many debates already on that issue. Just comment on the actual trades, thanks.

Tha_PrinceParticipantYou know I’m usually against big trades like these but I’d be totally up for both.
I don’t know how the Spurs would feel about giving up Parker though, they had the best record this past season.
When it comes to Felton I believe he’s on his way out but Chandler I think they want to keep. Again though, solid trades for both and especially if we get Kanter I would love to see Bargs on his way out for some talented pieces.
Plus, the Red Rocket is always welcome here!! Lol
