OldSkoolBasketballParticipanttrade all your 1st round picks for the 1st pick which is Griffin? You think Clippers would actually accept this deal? What are your thoughts about it?

13kavaki would gladly take the 4 picks for the 1 sure griffin might be a superstar but ive seen him dissapear in games as well and whos to say he will be the only superstar or good player in the draft. i probably would do it if i were minny griffin jefferson and love might be a scary tandem

T-WOLF FANParticipantThats just stupid, of coarse the wolves wouldn’t trade 4 first rounders for the 1st pick in the draft.. no team would..
Blake griffin is a PF and the wolves have plenty of bodies already at that position. It doesn’t matter how good he might be..NO team would do a 4 for 1 deal.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/24/2009 - 6:38am #171085

esperanzafleet69Participantthats so dumb for minnesota… especially after just trading foye and miller… they need to go small and they will have a lot of opprotunities to get what they need with their picks… hopefully corey brewer will step up now..

RipDeuceParticipanti would trade the 5th and 6th pick to the Grizzlies for the 2nd overall pick to draft Rubio

RickyRubio9Participanthave their Power Forward Spot set with Jefferson and Love. They need a Center, maybe go for a Free Agent Center like Gortat. At the Small Forward they have Brewer who hasn’t been great, but he’s good enough for now. They don’t have much depth at any position. Especially after trading Mike Miller and Randy Foye. They can package their 5th Pick and one of their later 1st Round Picks for the 2nd Pick from Memphis and draft Rubio If he’ll actually play there or they can take Thabeet. After that, they use their 6th pick to take Curry or Evans and Telfair will have to start, but if I’m the Wolves I’d take Rubio and hopefully he’ll play. Then take Curry to help Rubio out and the Starting Five would be, Rubio, Curry, Brewer, Love, and Jefferson. Although they might want to sign another PG so they can ease Rubio into the starting spot. In a Perfect World, they could trade their later first round pick with the 5th for the 2. Draft Rubio, then with the 6th pick take Evans/Curry, and with the 18th maybe a James Johnson or T-Will. Their two second round could be some bigs or overseas guys to stash. In free agency they could go after an older PG like Miller, Bibby, or Kidd, but they probably all want to win and then go for a Center.

RickyRubio9Participant5th Pick the Grizzles would be able to fill their need at PF and draft Jordan Hill then draft another Rookie Pointguard towards the end of the 1st round with the pick they get from Memphis. Then their team would be set…

duvoemouaParticipantIf i were in charge of the wolves i would trade kevin love to the thunder for their pick. You would get either thabeet or rubio depending on wat memphis does. If memphis takes rubio we can take thabeet and vise versa. The wolves would be able to get the center they want a good point guard and maybe even a new swing man all with this years draft.
