DunksNJordans23ParticipantAs we have all been informed Isaiah Whitehead will announce his decision on Thursday (tomorrow). It is expected that he stay local being from Brooklyn, New York. His list is Seton Hall, St. John’s, Indiana, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh. I’m guessing he is a St. John’s lean but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Indiana after recent decommitment from James Blackmon Jr. He visited Indiana the day after the Elite 24 game so Crean may have made a nice late push for Whitehead.

Sidenote: Did anyone see him at the Elite 24 game? Dude killed it!

kotyParticipantI love his game and wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up at St. John’s. Lavan recruits very well and is definitely capable of hauling in a talent like whitehead. However, I wouldn’t be shocked to see SHU get the nod. He visited last week and then announced he’d be making his choice this week which might indicate he’s sold on seton hall. Also, SHU has gained some momentum on the recruiting trail with the commitment of ny big man angel Delgado and ny wing Kadeem Carrington, both big time prospects, and added a coach with ny ties, Antigua. Regardless of where he goes, I think he’ll be successful and a great pickup for whatever school.
