Forgive me for talking about 2013 draft for a minute.  Does anyone think he could be the number 1 pick next year?  I think he will have a huge season next year UNC.. Does anyone think he can play the 3 in the NBA or is he just a 4?

I think he will have a breakout year as well. Almost the way Blake Griffin came back and dominated his sophmore year. He has the athletic ability to be an inside outside threat. He is already a great rebounder and a pretty good low post scorer. He just played nervous at the beginning of the season until he gained confidence close to the end of the season. If he develops an outside jumper with some consistency watch out. I think dude will be a beast

can ball! He’s an NBA 3. I don’t think he will go 1 next year, as I think Shabazz will- but it’s possible if he plays like it. I think McAdoo’s top 5 though.

Has a good as shot as anybody. Depends on the way his body continues to develop (assuming it does) as to what position he’ll be suited best for, the way he’s build i would’nt be suprised to see him get to 240-250. I think he’ll dominate the ncaa more so than Adams and Noel. From what i’ve seen to this point the #1 is Shabazz’s to lose. Then again I thought Perry Jones would a lock for top three so who knows.

He will be a lock for no.2 pick if he becomes the man for UNC, this guy would’ve been a top ten pick based off of potential if he came out this year, this guy can do anyhing on the court

I think he has potential to be a Shawne Marion-type in the NBA.  He needs to work on scoring down low, but he is outstanding in the open floor, is a very active defender, and is a capable shooter with solid ballhandling ability.

My biggest questions for him are how effectively can he create for himself in the half court and how effectively can he finish around the rim in the half court off of dump off passes.  He has an exceptionally complete game and appears to be very effective within his team’s offense.  I just don’t know if he is a great ball handler, shooter, or post scorer.  He has shown some ability to make turnaround jumpers and is very quick, so I expect that he will develop into a solid post up threat.  He was hyped up as a post scorer somewhat in high school.

Still, I would be shocked if he wasn’t a top 5 pick next year barring injury.  He is a player who knows his strengths and has a great all-around game.  He really looks the part of an NBA pf.  From what I have seen, while he probably can defend sfs and could still be a solid offensive wing, his ideal position on both ends of the floor is definitely pf, where his quickness is a big strength.  He looks like a player who could be a great pick-and-roll defender while still bringing rebounding.  His faceup game also looks very good for a pf, as does his ability to run the floor and move without the ball.

I say he’ll be the best outta the 2013 class, early prediction. He’s a highly skilled 4, if you played him at the 3 he wouldn’t cut it since he doesn’t have the ball handling skills or shooting to stick out on the outside.

Could he be #1?  Absolutely… but we really have zero idea until at least December.  Remember how sure everyone was that Drummond or Barnes would be #1 this year?

I don’t really see him as a 3 at the next level.  Like PulseGlazer said, we’ll have to wait until December to find out.  For all we know, Mcadoo could come back next year with range out to three and a solid handle.

I don’t think so unless he puts a lot of work in this offseason. I watched a lot of UNC and he has no ability to play the wing at all at this point and he’s a tad undersized for a 4. I think he’ll have a very good sophomore campaign but he is a tweener at this point, and twenner typically don’t go #1. I could definitely see him going Top 5.
