im impressed with him but not as much as other on here because he is a 3rd year player playing against alot of guys who wont even be in the nba. the same with hickson. the performances that they do is what i expect from a third year player in the summer leauge. So although im impressed by both, they are doing what they are suppossed to do in summer leauge

Dude finished 11th in the league in blocks playing only 16.1 minutes! Seeing how he’s developed his offensive game (19.5 ppg in summer league on 69% shooting), and seeing how he’s just 22, he could become an absolute terror! Definitely a top MIP candidate for next year and could become a legit star.

If we are just going by summer leauge then j.j hickson is ahead of him as far as MIP

actually sam young would be too, dermar derozen, reggie williams maybe. but personally i dont think any of them will get it( maybe hickson) because this is summer leauge. the big men in the nba are 10times better then what these guys are going against. on top of some players role changing in the regular season

Mcgee will be a third option at best behind wall agent zero and blanchet. i think some people are forgetting that

McGee could force his way into stardom with the help of John Wall, they have a good chemistry going on. And once and for all, it’s too hard relying on Arenas to stay healthy, and/or out of trouble, he’ll be lucky to play 40+ games without something going wrong. Blatche has a lot of talent with his size, but make no doubt about it, John Wall will get McGee involved in the game…maybe not MIP, but he will be a factor.

Hopefully McGee and Wall can a develop the same pick and roll ability that Cp3 and Chandler once had….

im not gonna get too carried away because of what a 3rd year athletic big man does in summer leauge. i think he will play well maybe around 10-13ppg 5-8reb but not stardom

Not quite stardom, I didn’t mean to sound like he’s gonna average 25-10, but if he could average 14-8, I think that’s about as productive as he needs to be, he won’t be an All Star, but he will be a factor, that’s all I’m saying…

Also, these guys being drafted so young, it’s hard to fault a guy for making strides in his third season. Basically, he would be a rookie after his senior season by year 3 nowadays…

im not faulting him for making strides in his third year. thats a good thing but im not gonna go out of control because hes doing exactly what a third year big man should do in the summer leauge. just like i wouldnt go out of control if eric gordan played and averaged 30ppg in the summer leauge. this is expected when you have 2 years of nba experience compared to some who might never get a contract

to actually breakout? last yr when he did start, he could never stay on the court bc of foul trouble.

He’s a great talent, and his numbers will be better next yr. Mainly bc of him having such a playmaker at the 1.
