FastAndFuriousParticipant22 points 6 assist 2 TO’s, hope he can keep this play up, everyone knew he was capable of these type of games!!!

JaeEvolutionParticipantNo one on the Nets could guard him, he didn’t take ONE jumpshot the entire game, everything was to the rim where he was beyond efficient, he can teach a few things to Josh Smith…jokes.

FastAndFuriousParticipantEveryone knew when he was at Wake killin it, his game could translate, because he was fast, quick and explosive and could shoot it, he just needed minutes and confidence, hope he keeps this up, its a shame a injury had to happen for him to bust on the scene, he should have been giving the keys after his rookie year.

JaeEvolutionParticipantThere was a guard before Teague that was killing it at Wake that we had a chance to draft also, I think you know him.

Winning_TimeParticipantI love Teague’s game. I wish the Hawks would just unleash him and let him play more because he’s such a good scorer. He straight carried them in the playoffs last year.

surveParticipantMike Woodson was planning on starting him last year before he got the axe. I am skeptical about ATL truly unleashing him because of Joe Johnson….not that Johnson is selfish but because Teague is more of a scoring first PG, I could see it affecting Johnson’s scoring.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI mean Joe Johnson, nothing against him is on the decline his numbers have dropped each year since 06-07
25.0
21.7
21.4
21.3
18.2
And now 14.2 PPG this year
IDK but I would be fine if Teague scored more as long as they keep winning, Johnson isnt as dominant as his contract says he is.

FilipinoElladecline in numbers and incline on salary, with the huge contract that was given to him last summer,
the decline maybe is because of the development of the players in there roster, Al horford and josh smith, and now with jeff teague playing,
got another question about joe johnson, IS HE TRADABLE?

surveParticipantI agree, as long as they are winning is what counts. I wasnt implying that they need Johnson to score more to be effective. Its about player morale. Johnson has a high usage rate and limiting his scoring role may not be a good idea in managements eyes because they have invested too much in him for him to be malcontent. This is just speculation, because of the flip side, I really think Joe doesnt have a big ego, he doesnt appear to at least and I think he wants to play winning basketball.
Is he tradable? Absolutely, I dont think his contract is bad considering what he could do for a team who would be in contention. Johnson brings a lot more than stats to a team….think if the Bulls had him. He could be an NBA champion as a 2nd or 3rd option. The problem with his contract is, he was paid to be a 1st option, in in that regard, its a bit much.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSome better tell Momma Teague that Jeff has Stolen his brother’s Marquis’s game…..They said Marquis was the better player….

ilike.panochasParticipantJeff Teague wasn’t exactly lighting it up his freshman year at Wake Forest. I still see Marquise having a bigger upside.

JNixonParticipantJeff Teague actually started lighting it up his Fr/ year. The ACC slate was his coming out party as a frosh, that’s when people started realizing his potential.
