I hate when NBA teams draft a player fairly high, add him to the roster, wont play him, but at the same time wont trade him because they LIKE the kid. wtf kind of s*** is that? This doesnt apply to jerryd that much but most certainly apply to JJ. The magic put him in and out of the rotation and redick produces and tries his damndest to play defense(tho he is limited). Then when other teams show interest in wanting JJ the magic say no we like him. That has 2 piss players off knowing they are wanted and can be put in a good role but not being able to play becuz of a team being selfish. I have a feeling jerryd will be put in the same situation if he is stuck in portland in the next few yrs. its sad becuz bayless is a stud and there are a lot of ppl in the league who simply cant guard him and cant measure up to his grit. Bayless could start point for a few teams and even be a 6th man on most. It sucks he has to sit on a playoff team where he is better than the players ahead of him. what do u think?

The question is… who wants redick? and if they do, are they offering equal value? I haven’t heard of too many rumors of teams trying to acquire redick.

As for bayless, blazers are very willing to play him, but blake has been outplaying him. However, bayless looks to be ready very soon, so it makes sense for blazers to hold on to their potential star point guard. It’s like stuckey. Piston didn’t ship billups until they felt stuckey was ready. When stuckey was ready, they made room for him. The same should happen for the blazers.

The rumors for Redick have quieted because the Magic wouldn’t bite on anything. They were all around the trade deadline last year, but your equal value point is a good one.
