What are the odds both players return to school percentage-wise?

How will you feel about it if both return?

How will you portray the draft class without the top 2 heavy hitters?

What does your Top 5 Big Board look like without the two prospects?

20% chance Embiid returns. if he comes back, and has another injury, even if its minor, he will get the " injury prone center" label. you dont want that if you want to be picked high.

40% Parker returns. i still expect him to declare though.

the draft will still be a good draft, but wont have the potential to be one of the best without both.

    without both, my rankings are..

    -Wiggins

    -Randle

    – Exum ( i hate ranking him due to never seeing him and just going off his tools and hype..but whatever)

    -Vonleh

    -Smart.

I stay here in Chicago and people close are saying Jabari will stay because he wants to win a national title and he planned on not being in the NBA for 2 years anyways do to the fact he planned on doing a mission for religious purposes. Things can change but from what I’m hearing he’s coming back. If that’s the case Anderson replaces Parker in my top 5 with wiggins, smart, randle, and exum

I just hope if 1 makes a decision soon to return the other takes heed and returns as well. It will make this draft more interesting to me and another year of NCAA play being great to watch. I think it’s more favored to Embiid leaving early more so than Parker because of the injury issues.

I really want to wait before declaring a top 5 until I find out these kids measurements because I feel some of these guys are shorter than listed and that will change my feeling towards them

I think that it is fairly clear that neither Embiid or Parker are talking to people about their thinking as there is basically no information coming out right now.

All of the stories written about them in the last few days start with a single comment by Chad Ford in his chat last Wednesday. There has been nothing other than that that points anything in either direction.

My guess is that they do ultimately declare because it is a complete no brainer of a decision in terms of what is best for them. There is nothing but downside to coming back to school. They both may feel a desire to come back, but in the end it would just be stupid.

Parker is good enough today to play 30 minutes a night in the nba. His game does not need to mature anymore in college. Embiid isn’t as ready as that, but what is going to happen to him in college next year? He will be physically abused by multiple defenders each game and will rarely match up with a player in his class physically. He is going to get better by playing against better players. Plus, he is one more back injury away from being labeled as an injury risk. It is far better for him to come out now.
