Johnny Chill
You two sound like a married couple.
Your MDB team had a set offense? Shoot. lol the only offense my team had was "run around until you find an opening." Yeah my coach was essentially Phil Jackson......
We were supposed to run a motion offense but we ended up just doing whatever the hell we wanted hahaha.
MikeyV is right, that was hypocritical of me, I don't think what I did was too severe considering all I did was look up the name and college he had on his profile here, but it was hypocritical, my bad.
Mikey V you are the only poster that posts as much as you do who actually has a very good basketball opinion without biases. All the other big users just have a huge biased and hop on the side of either a) the player they like b) the poster they like or c) the answer that will give them the most points. You are the only big-time user who keeps his opinion unscathed of biases and it makes you're opinion very valid.
Respect that. I do not think what you did was wrong, but it definitely opened things up to the "jab" that started a debacle. Just my belief that what you found out about Boywonder was all Boywonder wanted to know about IndianaBasketball. He wanted to know his stats or his circumstance.
Conclusions were jumped to and a lot of stuff was written when it did not need to go that far in the least. Live and learn, man. Always will and it is refreshing to see you as a young kid willing to do so. Keep it up dude and my calling you out was out of wanting to give perspective and hope for improvement.
ha we just got our friends to join a team and it just so happens that all our friends combine to make a almost picture perfect roster.
PG: 5'9, Good passer, very fast, and awesome at getting to the rim
SG: 5'11, Best all around player and very unselfish. Led the team in assists, rebounding, 2nd in ppg. Great defender, good shooter, really good at getting to the rim and free throw line. Very good leader
SF: 6'4. Best scorer. Almost unstoppable on offense. Can shoot from anywhere
PF: 6'4. Good post defender and husle player. Rebounds, blocks shots, and provides energy
C: 6'6. Just plain bigger then everyone and contests shots. Solid rebounder and mid range game.
Bench:
SG: 5'8. Good shooter, great defender. Hussles more then anyone and drives the other team crazy
SF: 6'0. High Basketball I.Q.and a great shooter
C/PF: 6'5. Solid post defender
SG: 5'10. Ok Shooter
We just built a random team, but it turned out perfectly. We were way bigger then everyone and did not give up points in the paint. We had 2 great scorers and every game a 3rd guy would step up. Mutliple 3 point shooters. High energy players who frusterated the other teams on defense. Players who could attack the rim. We pretty much had everything. Helped us beat alot of teams that had more talent then us.
hahahaha Screw you man! My team I was always the tallest player and I'm barely 6' tall. My natural position is guard so half the time I was just playing point forward lol man what I would have given to have had just ONE 6'4 player on my teams!
Haha yeah we (I) definitely assembled the team well. We had those four guys 6'4 or taller but a 6' guy who could play PF effectively. Plus two of the 6'4 guys were athletic with great length and the other two had good girth for the post. On paper we had everything a team needs, especially since everyone played pretty selflessly.
Me and IndianaBasketball just had a discussion about the Teague brothers and he still thinks me and Boywonder are the same person lol smh.
I can prove who I am as well since everyone else is doing it! hahaha
I was youngdave just in case people didn't know.
Man, I have to play basketball with you guys before I get too old, lol. Have been playing a lot more lately, freaking love it. The only poster I have ever played with is butidonthavemoney, who has robo cop arms and knows how to play, lol. He killed me, though I was in much worse shape than I am now. Still, would be amazing to get a game together eventually. My next stop might be to try and take up llperez's 3 point challenge in LA (I remember he challenged every user, lol. Would be down to meet up and see who strokes the most treys).
@DurantsWingspan: Thanks man, but I have biases. I definitely want certain players to do better than others and such, may have a hard time changing my opinions on certain things. Just try to look at things with an open mind and give credit where it is due. Appreciate the compliment though, man. I am hoping to write a lot more about basketball in the next little while, so stay tuned.
Me: PG: 5'9, Good passer, very fast, and awesome at getting to the rim
Jeff: SG: 5'8. Good shooter, great defender. Hussles more then anyone and drives the other team crazy

haha that sucks! We just happen to have alot of tall friends. Most of them are the tall friends who really are not good at basketball, but just happen to be tall enough to make an impact.
We should just start up an "Across the country NBAdraft.net pickup game challenge" the name is a little long but we can work on that. lol
Think I am a good passer and shooter, though if I am very anything it is not fast, lol. Have strength though and am not afraid of contact, plus I have gotten a lot better at using either hand. Keep us updated on your games, sounds like a good time.
ha that would be sick if we could get like nba draft.net people from each state and have a tourney. Would never happen, but that would be sick if it somehow did.
"We should just start up an "Across the country NBAdraft.net pickup game challenge" the name is a little long but we can work on that. lol"
I'm in, but we should make the stakes a little higher.
Aran and Givony are the coaches. We're the Draft Nets, and our team plays the DX Stumps. Winner gets bragging rights in the draft community for the next year.
As fun as this all sounds I think it'd be a little embarrassing for me to show up and then more then likely not make the team haha.
Nah. The stakes aren't high enough. It'll be an all out battle to the death! Or until the 4th quarter buzzer sounds. Usually that's good enough for me.
MikeyV-
All I was saying, is this is unneccesary. I'm not trying to escalade this dispute. Just end it. And anyone whining and crying about something like that. If I have used an offensive term to describe someone, its usually because their post shows them no credibility and no actual intelligence for me to respectfully respond to what they have to say. When people get sarcastic or just answer with something thats completely unintelligent or irrelavent, I tend to dismiss them. And that's my bad. But I don't come on here to just post stupid stuff and make jokes. That's not me.
LOL a nbadraft.net team versus draftexpress.com, it would be pretty embarassing if someone didn't make the team. I'd be down for it when I'm a senior though, because I haven't hit my growth spurt yet and my voice cracks from time to time during bball practice.
Dude, that is fine. I have no beef with you, but I think that while you see it as unnecessary, at times we kind of learn things by this. These posts every once in a while actually get posters to think differently and possibly point out things that could possibly make the board better.
All the original poster did was ask the dude to put all of the ridiculous and immature insults he was using on here. I do not see how that is whining or crying. If it is not you, do not get involved. But, I have a feeling if you ask someone something that you feel is valid and than get no response, that sucks. Well, that is what nbanflguy was asking and he was hoping to maybe get a different response from the person by posting this.
If it is not you, than it is not you. But, I know you do not necessarily back down from something you do not agree with, so why should the original poster not have the same right. This is about making the board better, at least attempting to. If you were being trolled by a person, I would expect you to defend yourself or try to reach an understanding in whatever way you wanted to. You ignore it, other people deal with it in a different way. Everyone has their different ticks, man. I would love to not have to talk about this, but it got to the point of being obnoxious and I think we could both agree that we would rather personal slurring was kept off the board as it tends to be not only unproductive, but lead to posts like this.

Mcwinning due to your lack of a pic, points, and swag i didnt even notice your pg. 3 shot at me and Gordon Haywards sister.
How about you go get a avatar and then come at me proper son.
McDunkin.... Get ready bro, I've been working hard on the next single for MMA and I think I may have struck gold with this one. It's a freestyle but it's featuring you, Wiz, Tongue, and myself. The forum better get ready cuz it's....about...to...go down!
It's called GIFs. Here's a preview for all the fans!
"I was trippin' once and wanted start my own team
But I was broke as f*ck and went back to that cream
And We got lambos, with four hoes, and no clothes
And my chick balls like Lobo, y'all on the street like some hobos"

Haha we never had a legit coach...we always got one of our dads/uncles to come and act in as one, but I pretty much made all the coaching decisions, with some help from a couple other guys. I swear it's incredible that we almost won two tourneys. We only practiced once a week (with no structure), didn't have a coach, and never ran our set offense haha.
