Kansas Prospects

Kansas Prospects

What are your guys take on the two Kansas players Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich on the NBA level? I don't really know what to make of them. Collins, while under 6 ft, is very strong and atheletic. I just question what he can do when he doesn't have to score the ball all the time. I think Aldrich should be a decent center in the league but it is hard to tell right now, I dont know if he can defend at that level.

actually i was looking up stats tonight and aldrich is one of the top shot blockers in the country at 2.7 per game. some people think blocks are not indicative of actual defense ability, i for one disagree with this. i think aldrich is more than capable of defending at the next level.

I agree. Their are a lot of big men that can't time shot blocks. Blocking shots is a lot harder then it looks.

It's rare for a guy Sherron Collins height to do well unless he has a lot of bounce.

I think he has plenty of bounce. Not Nate Robinson jumps by any means, but he can hop. The only question with him is running a team in my opinion. He is a bowling ball.

collins has to show he can be an efficent playmaker,and aldrich isnt athletic or tough enough to be more than a 2nd or 3rd player of the bench at his position if he were to come out this season. collins also has to show he is a consistent shooter.
