Kings not liking Rubio is a smokescreen!
i hope it is a smokescreen. geoff petrie has always been pretty secretive of his picks, such as last year with jason thompson. nobody saw that coming. i hope that he takes rubio if he's available, but if not, takes evans.
You are right, they said before that they were really interested in Flynn, now it's Evans. It's going to be Rubio if he drops, but I expect Minny to trade one of their lottos and a later first round pick as well to get the 2nd Pick from the Grizzles and they'll use that 5th or 6th pick to take Hill which fills their PF hole since Rubio and Thabeet aren't really needed in Memphis. Then Minny could take Rubio or Thabeet since they want to move Jefferson back to the four, but then they'd be benching Love and with the 6th pick or 5th they could take a combo guard like Evans or Curry maybe even Flynn.
I agree. OKC seems like they are going to take him.
Memphis won't trade because dude was so burned by the feedback from the Gasol trade that he's not making any trade that isn't so one-sided that he's sure he's getting the best of it.
Oklahoma City will move back to one of Minnesota's picks & get either Harden, Curry or Evans - 3 guys they like, and pick up the 18th. That allows OKC to maybe nab Mullens at 18 & not have to give Phoenix back their 2010 first rounder in order to be in a spot he might fall to. If they want to move up, the 18th & 36th would probably do the trick to move up far enough to get Mullens. Even if they don't get him (and he makes sense for them), it's still worth doing for OKC & Minnesota gets the top PG. Win-win. I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen if Thabeet goes 2.
I don't see why they would pass on him. I hope they don't so the Timberwolves can get Tyreke!
The Donald Sterling of calling smoke screens.

Kings not liking Rubio is a smokescreen! Trust me. If this guy is there at #4, they will take him. they r just trying to stop teams from trading up with memphis or OKC so that they can land rubio.
