knicksfreakParticipantThe Knicks just bought the Lakers pick #29.

ZKParticipantWho do you think they’re going after?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 7:55am #171329
Knicksboy34ParticipantWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BlackMamba24Participantcan we see some proof of this being bought
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 7:59am #171335
BlackMamba24ParticipantI just read that they are looking at taking Jack McClinton at 29 also
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:01am #171336
Knicksboy34ParticipantJODIE MEEKS!!!! thats who i want (sorry for the caps folks, im super excited!)
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:03am #171337
RickyRubio9ParticipantSimple as that, they were already offering up Farmar to the Rockets. I have them taking him in the second round since I think he’ll drop. Meeks isn’t going that early and neither is Pendergraph, or I don’t think.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:04am #171338
knicksfreakParticipantIf Minnesota doesnt package their 2 late first rounders, #28 could be sold too.
D’Antoni was high on McClinton but Ellington, Claver, Green, Brown could be available and they are better choices.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:05am #171339
Knicksboy34ParticipantKnicksfreak…if we add Victor Claver, ill explode. He is my favorite player in the draft.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:06am #171341
BlackMamba24ParticipantYeah, Ellington would be a great value pick at 29
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:08am #171342
knicksfreakParticipantI’d be very happy with Claver or Ellington. I feel the same way about him knicksboy. He has 2-guard talent in a 6’10” frame. Looks like a more athletic Gallo. I heard he hasnt looked that good since he hurt his knee though.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:11am #171343
Knicksboy34ParticipantMan, Gallo at the 3 and Claver at the 4? talk about shooting the lights out?
Also, Who you want at 8? I want Holiday…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:13am #171345
knicksfreakParticipantI still have a thing for Jennings. We’re becoming Euro-team. Gallo, Darko, Claver? I dont know who to put at 29 in my mock.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:14am #171347
BlackMamba24ParticipantFrom what i have read, for the knicks it is down to DeRozan and Henderson at #8

bobbygillerheres the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4285133
apparently they’re going after UM’s Jack McClinton, not a bad pick up I suppose, he would fill the eddie house type roll on that team, don’t forget House lit it up in D’antoni’s system a few years ago.
"The Knicks, meanwhile, are looking to add another guard through Thursday’s draft, a source told Katz, and they might look at the University of Miami’s Jack McClinton at No. 29. The Knicks made inquiries about McClinton with the school as late as Wednesday."
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:16am #171350
NYKnicksuperFanParticipantKnicks arent even sure he’ll play in America i think if they dont get Jordan Hill theyll go after Taj Gibson, if they get Jordan Hill i think theyll go after a Euro that D’Antoni loves maybe that french guard buebois
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:17am #171351
Knicksboy34ParticipantI heard about McClinton too. I hope not, he is not a top 30 player. If I was the Knicks
8- Jrue Holiday (Defensive-minded, 6-4 and a slasher as a PG)
29- Victor Claver (6-10, PG skills but he will stay over in euro for 2 years)also, in FA we should add CJ Miles, Gerald Green and Marcin Gortat
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:18am #171353
knicksfreakParticipantWhere did you hear that? I heard Holiday and Jennings are in the mix with Derozan and Henderson if Curry, Hill and Evans are gone.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:19am #171354
knicksfreakParticipantNo Gortat!!! Jerome James part 2. He had very little minutes after Howard and Battie already wore down the other team.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:21am #171355
Knicksboy34ParticipantI saw like the Knicks mock draft board…
1. Curry
2. Evans
3. Holiday
4. Hill
5. Jenningshttp://www.thehoopsreport.com/article.aspx?id=281
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:21am #171357
RickyRubio9ParticipantGreen in Dantoni’s offense? Can you say potential reached?!?!? I’d love to see that. He’d shine in that system…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:22am #171358
knicksfreakParticipantWhy isnt my mock updating?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:23am #171359
knicksfreakParticipantGerald Green is my master plan. Darko could have a coming out party in NY too. They can both restart their careers.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:30am #171361
BlackMamba24ParticipantQuestion for Knicks Fans:
Would you want to take Harden at 8, if were still sitting there
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:37am #171362
knicksfreakParticipantI wouldnt want to commit suicide like I have after other drafts but I’d rather have a PG. I want to sign Gerald Green as a 2.

Knicksboy34ParticipantI saw like the Knicks mock draft board…

knicksfan7ParticipantI haven’t seen in a while Jonny Flynn getting any consideration by the Knicks. I believe he will make a great PG for the team, and he is not just a guy who plays Offense he prides himself in D.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:44am #171366
knicksfreakParticipantI doubt we pick Claver at 29 because he is expected to stay in Europe and we’d have to give him a guaranteed contract.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:45am #171367
knicksfreakParticipantSomthing about Flynn doesnt fit.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:50am #171368
BlackMamba24Participantyeah the knicks don’t like players that have heart, So they obviously dont like Flynn. They must not of been around in the 6 OT game in MSG
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:50am #171369
RickyRubio9ParticipantFlynn going to the Knicks and staying in that orange. 😉
Gerald and Darko restarting their careers in New York would be great, but I think Green is still with the Mavs for one more season, or is he? Also, someone told me that I shouldn’t wait to work on my Mock because later this site will become horribly slow and mess up alot…something about them not adding that server after all. It’s working better then the past couple of days though.0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:53am #171370
knicksfreakParticipantFlynn went from being underhyped to being overhyped. That game is his claim to fame. He had a very good career but there were no major achievements.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 8:58am #171371
BlackMamba24ParticipantHe was still a star without that game, its just other places across the country understood who he was. If you look at the Knicks roster, he is the type of player they need. Its not like there roster is stacked with guys who are team players. They wonder why they cant make the playoffs in the east
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:08am #171373
Knicksboy34ParticipantSomething tell me (Knicksfreak, tell me if you agree)
8TH- Derozan and 29th- Mills? I think they may go PG later…im starting to get that feeling.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:16am #171377
knicksfreakParticipantI was thinking about something similar but if Harden fell. Lawson may also fall to 29. I think Donnie has settled on Holiday. I wish we would trade our pick to Chicago for 16 and 26. Chicago would love Harden or Henderson in the backcourt with Rose. Jennings may still be available at 16. Brown at 26 and Claver at 29.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:23am #171379
Knicksboy34ParticipantWho are you looking at 29?
I mean i have like 5 ideal players
Pendergraph
Gibson
Meeks
Mills
Ellington
also…i keep think Jerebko.I also keep hearing Minnesota does not like Harden….but what if GS takes him because they like the passing guard/forward type.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:29am #171381
knicksfreakParticipantI’m not high on Gibson, Mills and Jerebko. I think its a reach for Pendergraph and maybe Meeks. I prefer Ellington or Brown if hes still available as BPA. I love Claver and hope we grab an early 2nd rounder to get him.
I wouldnt be upset with;
Ellington
Brown
Claver
Meeks
Summers
Lawson
Mills
Green0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:42am #171383
RickyRubio9ParticipantI didn’t know there were Knicks Fans…no offense, but I mean some that actually are true to their team.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:50am #171385
knicksfreakParticipantYeah theres a few. Alot of other Ironworkers and construction guys I work with in the city are hardcore. We just havent had anything to be excited about for a long time.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 9:55am #171387
Knicksboy34ParticipantLOL…rubio i dont blame you man. I remember going to knicks games when i was 3 years old man. My baby set with Orange and Blue man.
Almost 80% of NY people like the Knicks but there is a die-hard 20% of them who still die by the team.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 11:27am #171418
piratejpParticipantIf they take him at 29, they are braindead. There will be so many better SGs available at that spot, they would be nuts to reach on someone so one-dimensional. Ellington, Meeks, Thornton, Douglas, Taylor all should be there – all better than McClinton.
No disrespect to him, I liked him as a collegian & he could surprise me as a pro, but I just can’t imagine they paid $3 million to grab McClinton at that spot.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 11:58am #171429
HaleParticipantCouldn’t they get McClinton is mid second round? Why trade for a late first for that?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 12:02pm #171431
Knicksboy34ParticipantI agree. I want them to go Holiday at 8 and….Budinger at 30 if he’s there.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 1:31pm #171472
knicksfreakParticipantThey said a long time ago that they would try to trade for a late first rounder to make sure he is still available.
