lol cant believe this guy continues to get looks and chances.

he’s finished. he hasnt been in shape for about 3 years now. has done who knows how much drugs.

i understand Phil’s heart is in the right place, but Lamar is done.

Silly. Lamar Odom was horrible last year, I can’t imagine he’s any better now, especially after his stints with the white horse

NY Knicks are out of contention unless hawks stink up the joint in the next few games they have left. Maybe it’s about helping a guy out that once played for you (and by you I mean Phil and my lakers) and making sure he doesn’t go down that road again. (Everyone knows he’s been on drugs and lost Khloe K. etc) so my guess is it’s not really basketball.

by signing him now with a team option for next season they can put him through a full offseason  so they are able to see if he’s worth keeping and if not they just  decline the team option.

Darius Johnson Odom I hope…we all feel for the guy but if youre honestly trying to make a team better Lamar isn’t the choice. Maybe as a veteran in the lockeroom or an assistant but with his problems I still think it’s too soon for either.

Not to sound like a hater or anything but helping him find his feet off the court should come before trying to get in a uniform.

Phil has a history of adding big playmakers to his teams…I read that he really loves UCLA’s Anderson..I wonder would he make a play for Kyle Anderson, maybe offer Shumpert and some future picks?
