knicks82ParticipantIm trying to cope with these 2 picks they made…but its hard lol. I will say that I do like Andy Rautins, Im a Syracuse fan and Rautins can shoot the lights out and plays great defense. Dont know too much about Landry Fields but he did avg. 22pts and 9 rebs and 3 ast pg. So maybe they found a diamond in the rough…? I was hoping they would have taken Alabi, or Varnado and and maybe Willie Warren, but Warren is undersized combo guard, and a bit of a headcase, so is Lance Stephenson. I mean the they were the ones that held the workouts with these guys and obviously they saw something that we as fans didnt.

Soulrebel15ParticipantThe Knicks are making it real hard to stay positive, they better bring in some top free agents this summer. Stop selling NYC and show these incoming free agents that the Knicks can be a winning organization. I like Melo but you can’t sell the fans on waiting another year if they don’t land fill in the blank…. free agents this summer.

cycloParticipantPoor man’s JJ Redick.
Just what the Knicks need to get over the hump?
I’m feelin’ the big name free agents aren’t coming to NY. Don’t like that supporting cast.
At least Miami’s got D-Wade.

Soulrebel15ParticipantI didn’t mind the Rautins pick and shooting is a premium get it however you can, especially in D’Antoni run and gun offense. You mean to tell me they couldn’t draft Stanley Robinson! Does he have limited offense? Yeah so what. He could have come off the bench destroy the rim grab boards play pressure D. I’m 50/50 on Lance he’s a very talented player but the ball sticks in this hand way to long often taking bad shots, and D’Antoni Offense is about ball movement. However, Lance get’s to the bucket so effortlessly often getting fouled in the process. Al comes to mind hes a free agent and sometime Will and he not aggressive enough.
I’ll reserve judgment until the knicks sign some free agents, but we Knicks fans have to be realistic. Gallo, Will, and Douglas are not the strongest of selling points, and the Garden hasn’t been the Garden since the 90’s. Unless these free agents mind set is I’m gonna make a boat load of money on and off the court plus bringing NY back to prominence, why would a top level free agent sign here?

Chicago1980ParticipantI dont know why everyone thought D. Walsh was gonna change things did anybody see the last 3-4 years that he had in indiana that team was pretty bad and they werent getting any better.

marcusfizer21ParticipantO New York… Just keep on wasting your draft picks… You’ll be the next CLippers on the East… I just can’t believe Walsh passing on Stephenson… Y’all need a scorer but you passed on a prospect like that??? That’s more than "overlooked" in my opinion… That’s just pure dumbness…— if ever there is such a word…

meisi4Participanti say now it´s getting a big FA or somehow find a way to win 40+ games… otherwise the walsh problem will be solved hopefully quickly.
i think if walsh misses out on lebron or bosh (wade isn´t going anywere) then he put this team a situation just as bad as we were 4 years ago. you can´t sell waiting for melo so they will just go out and overpay rudy gay or david lee type players and then be stuck as a late lottery or poor playoff team with no draft picks coming their way and little cap room.of course you have to wait what happens with FA before judging the whole thing but you definatly have a big risk there without anything between walsh the genius savoir of knicks basketball and the just as bad as ISAH donnie….
if they fail some already said it but really start to smell clipperish in NY….
