Michael.S.ParticipantThe new article says the knicks r picking curry. for me this does seen like a good fit but nate robinson is a great shooter and godd slasher who is a scorer I think this is a waste of a pick because at pick 8 they could pick up another great fit in their system earl clark a 6 foot 10 bigman who can step out to 3 and could replace lee cuz the knicks might get rid of lee or can compliment lee. any thoughts???

rvirsalParticipantwell, i really want to see stephen curry play in mike d’s system. i think he’s going to be a good fit there, he’d proly even start over duhon. i think the knicks won’t keep nate. they’ll have to make a tough decision this offseason on who to keep, and i think that they’d choose lee over nate, so getting curry at the 8th would be the best way to make up for the loss of nate. now, if only the knicks could get a 2nd rounder to get heyvelt. heytvelt is perfect in mike d’s system. he runs, he can work in the post and he has range.

Michael.S.Participantbut in my opinion curry is a downgrade from nate
and another versatile bigman would be nice
so they should pass on curry and help out david lee by getting earl clark because if they get rid of him or nate theyre crazy they already have enough scoring they need things other than that so why get curry0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/10/2009 - 6:19am #149080

Tar86ekParticipantKnicks will not take curry. curry is a late first round pick, he will slip, slip, slip faster then donte green and gerald green. curry is like a daniel gibson from the cavs. i don’t want him on the team. i would take flynn over curry any day of the week. they should take these players if available in the following order:
1. James harden
2. Earl clark
3.Jonny flynnone of them will be available. they should take the best player available because we are looking for value not fitting positions we are not champion contenders YET. i would trade lee for a first rounder and take bj mullens later in the draft.

wenichParticipantThey don’t need Earl Clark…Wilson Chandler is already a better version of Earl Clark, just a few inches shorter but more productive. I hope they do get Curry, over time huge upgrade over the crap they have now. Too bad they traded Crawford, would have loved a backcourt of Curry and Crawford instead of Nate and Duhon. They would have actually been watchable again.

kotyParticipantI think curry could b great in mike’s system. Also, i think they might draft him to help lure LeBron to NY
