Is Knitting a Good Idea for Asking a Girl to Prom?

She likes to knit. And I'm not someone you would expect to have the patience or skill to knit. Do you think it would be a good idea to knit some pattern thing that says "PROM?" or something like that? I'l probably make her brownies, too, or something...

Let's do the pros and cons for this:

Pros: you could find a new hobby
She might say yes

Cons: She might say NO!(and you could poke yourself with a needle)

Ask her straight up, I'm pretty sure she'd think you're a creeper if you knitted it.

I asked 5 girls and 2 guys about this idea. The guys both thought it was good, and 3.5 of the girls were all like, "Awwww! That'd be so precious/cute/adorable!"

It's only mid-January. I'm not ppping the question for at least a month. I'm hopig you haven't asked your lady-friend this early in the year.
