TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantEnd of this Raptors game is crazy, 3 ridiculously contested 3’s. Its going to OT.
P.S. Rudy Gay 7-23

IndianaBasketballParticipantDeRozan was eating Meeks alive. They put Kobe on him and he’s been as quiet as a mouse.

NickWayne87Participantyou beat me to making this thread I was logging in……that’s some LEGENDARY STUFF we’ve witnessed. I almost pissed my pants. They lucky the lakers didn’t get another possession or this game would be OVER……he just got in that zone, he already made those shots before he shot them he knew it……..

IndianaBasketballParticipantUNBELIEVABLE. I’m sitting here watching the game with my girl and we both said, “How in the F does he do this?”
Rudy Gay is talented, athletic and long… But he’s a garbage basketball player.

IndianaBasketballParticipantKobe’s turnovers are a problem. 9 turnovers tonight.
And I dislike Meeks. He thinks he has the green light, is hot and cold, and is a weak ass defender.

theprophetParticipantyeah after turning the ball over a million times, kobe has played pretty well in the second half. why do the lakers play like crap for three quarters and ask kobe to bail them out against bad teams? not exactly playoff formula.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGet Meeks OUT!!!
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:19pm #753719
TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantBeat me two it
I only saw the last 4 minutes of regulation and OT, and Meeks has been getting torched. D’Antoni doesn’t give a sh!t about defense. I can’t wait for him to trade for Bargs this off season and then pick up Luke Babbitt.

BigChamp12ParticipantAlthough im tough on Kobe, Dis dude is SICK!! Those last 3 shots he made in regulation were 3 of the best shots I’ve seen in NBA history… There were so many compliants i had about Kobe during this game but he erased them. I owe him an apology
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:07pm #753703
mikeyvthedonParticipantNothing he does surprises me anymore. No one can make shots at the level of difficulty Kobe can. As soon as he made that first one, it was in the back of my mind that he would either tie or win it. What a competitor. The Lakers issues have taken away from just how unbelievable Kobe Bryant has been playing for a majority of this season.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantKobe’s season has been insane, either people are right about the League having a PED problem or they are completely wrong and everybody stopped using PED’s this year and Kobe, Bron and KD are really showing how much better they are at basketball than everyone in the world, by a far margin. Nobody but Tony Parker is even running a sub ten second 100 meters.

NickWayne87Participantlookin awfully quick out there for 34 yrs old
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:10pm #753709
TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantThe Raps should foul D12 every possession and then the Lakers should counter by letting Gay shoot semi open shots and then see who wins.
I remember seeing Rudy Gay at UCONN and thinking rationally that he was going to be the next Scottie Pippen. I didn’t even think that was a reach whatsoever, and I’m not a big comparison inflater, I always side on with more cautious comparisons. I mean he did everything well and seemed like such a smart player. How did it turn out, in what is usually a guys prime playing years, he isn’t good at basketball?
Also why is Jodie Meeks inserted in every defensive possession. Did he reinvent his self as a defensive stopper this season and I don’t know about it or something.

Cavaliers420ParticipantThis game is crazy. Kobe is so dominate it astounds me, I mean CAN HE MISS?!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:14pm #753712
IndianaBasketballParticipantOK…
What’s Kobe taking?
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:24pm #753723
TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI don’t give a sh!t what nobody says, he is on something. I here that young blood is the new fix, he must have a couple gallons of MJ circa 1993 blood on ice.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t like Gay taking it out for the Raptors

kingofbumsParticipantall season i had thought to myself that maybe kobe used up all of his incredible clutch games but mannnnnnnnnn i sense it comingg backk after the last two games

BenchWarmerParticipantMan these Lakers are struggling against non playoff teams. They are going to run into problems in the post season.

0- Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:51pm #753738
BenchWarmerParticipantKobe has been playing at an insanely high level and while they are 7-3 in their last ten games they have only beat two playoff team (boston and atlanta) while their three losses have been to playoff teams in the west (den, clips, and okc). He can still piggy back this team against weaker teams but The lakers as a whole need to step it up or Kobes incredible play will be for nothing.

kingofbumsParticipantLadies and Gentlemen, Your Toronto Raptors. “The perfect mix of ridiculously poor defense and terrible luck”
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:36pm #753727
llperezKobe mother f’n Bryant. These past 3 weeks have been right up there with the greatest stretches of his career.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:41pm #753729
Toronto16ParticipantKobe is taking PED’s.
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:43pm #753735
Lotto StudParticipantNo! He performed well because he had blue Gatorade instead of red.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI won’t say Kobe is taking PED’s, but my God. I can’t believe my eyes what he’s able to do physically. I mean, being that age and having no cartilage in his knee. He’s playing big minutes, yet he’s at his best late in games. No lift loss in his jump shots or anything.
And the way he dunked… No, make that the way he beat the double and then turned the corner and dunked that… Unreal for somebody his age.
Overall, Kobe is still more athletic than Rudy Gay in my opinion, which is unbelievable.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:45pm #753734
llperezIf PED mean player exhibiting dominance, then I agree.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 8:50pm #753743
BigChamp12ParticipantIm not a Lakers fan but this was the most exciting game of the season for me!!
My Notes…
I didnt agree with everything Kobe was doing throughout the game. He was pissing me off. But when your’re gonna do everything you can to pull the W out in the end, I dont care what mistakes you made throughout the game. Bravo Kobe!!
Meeks got tortured late in the game… He was really at Anderson’s mercy
Kobe didnt bring it on Defense tonight. He started on Demar and was getting torched. Then Rudy started cooking on him.
Earl Clark is slowly going back to the Earl Clark we knew him as before the season. He brings a lo of effort but his Iq isnt there yet.
Dwight looked like a top 10 player in the NBA again tonight dominating on O and D, and also made some clutch free throws.
Rudy Gay started out pretty good and just absolutely went cold. He can get off a shot anytime he wants to. They were actually not bad misses, but none of em went in.
Demar was great and shouldve been the one taking those shots this game since he was so hot.
Last note…. I think Kobe just put himself ahead of Kevin Durant in the MVP race. LeBron will win it. But Kobe has given the media and a lot of other people a lot things to think about.0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/09/2013 - 2:10am #753763
Ahkasi ClayParticipantWill lobe retire before they start testing for hgh?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/09/2013 - 10:21am #753835
IknoBall12ParticipantEven though they are struggling to pull out these games the fact that Kobe will get these lakers to the playoffs off just sheer will is amazing to watch. I almost hope it comes Down to a last game of the season type of scenario so we can watch Kobe go bonkers with it all on the line
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/09/2013 - 4:42pm #753961
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantJust ONE of those 3’s would have been a huge clutch shot that gets people talking about it for weeks, but he made THREE of them!
